So you have ZERO problem with “party rules” bring directly opposed to voter will? Of course you don’t.

>So both then. He didn’t bother to educate himself and now he’s upset and shifting blame.

No he’s an honorable man who doesn’t see the need to steal from others, unlike that snake Cruz. Honor is what keeps political systems functioning smoothly. When you turn politics into blood sport, actual blood will soon be spilled. I’d hate to see the American republican end the way of the Roman one.

Our system has worked this way for years and years. If Trump were smart enough to figure it out, I doubt you would be complaining.Every election we hear the same complaints - popular vote or delegate vote. Seems like someone should have planned better.

No, lie/deceit, not honesty/integrity.

Which is why I say the GOP just killed itself off.

It doesn’t matter whether or not I like it and mid stream isn’t the time to whine about it.

If Trump truly cared, he’s had years leading up to today to get involved and effect change in the rules and the process.

Over the past two or three days Cruz supporters have actually started coming out in favor of the Establishment wing of the party. One said that McConnell and Ryan were our best options for fighting liberalism.

It all comes down to Cruz being an Adult Child of Alcoholics. He creates his own, alternative realty, and soon his supporters are living there too.

.. ya’all have lost your damn minds...

That's the symptom. Everyone else has lost their minds, and the remedy is, think the way you do. Textbook case of Beck Syndrome.

Oh, I think it was "planned" well enough. And it's not popular vote vs. delegate vote. Trump has a substantial lead in BOTH categories.

But none of that matters because Cruz thinks he's backroom dealing his way into the nomination. And THAT's what this is -- backroom deals with the Establishment to get the nomination.

I can hear him now. "They like me, they REALLY like me....."

God help you all when the GOPe lowers the boom.

When the Roman Empire fell, folks living in Rome probably didn't realize it at the time.

Just sayin'.....

I agree. Everytime Trump loses he tries to steal the win away from Cruz by suggesting that Cruz stole the deligates. Trump then gets the next day headline in the papers. What a whinging loser. I wish people on this db would wake up to this nonsense.

We’re certainly reminded that politics is a blood sport when it’s working in Trump’s favor.

Make up your minds.

+1

The MSM pretended to like McCain...until it was McCain vs Obama.

Trump has had close to 70 million dollars worth of attack ads run against him. IF it came down to Cruz vs the Dem, that firepower would turn on him. He’d be the least popular person in America inside a month.

It doesn’t say very good things about his “managerial ability” that he didn’t know how the system worked.

Trump may be upset but if he loses he will go back to his successful business and life. I am upset because if he loses I will be stuck with a candidate from the uniparty that will continue to destroy my nation and my freedoms.

Apparently that prospect does not upset many here who enjoy seeing the will and votes of the people subverted. If the GOPe “rules” allow it it must be good. I guess the idea that the government knows what is best for us is okay with them.

Get involved and change the rules before you run or run under a different party if you don’t like them.

Now isn’t the time to piss and moan about it.

So you want to argue that a nearly 2 million vote popular vote lead, and a 198 EARNED delegate lead should be set aside because the Party rules allow it, and Ted “deserves” it more.
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Cruz is ‘worse’ than I thought he may have been, inasmuch as he has (supposedly) been a ‘thorn in the side’ of the GOPe for these past 5 or so years, NOW he thinks McConnell & Co are suddenly his ‘best buds’ and are scheming with HIM to upset DTs apple cart.

Even Ray Charles and Helen Keller can SEE that all Cruz is - at this point - is a ‘tool’ for the GOPe and one can imagine him getting unceremoniously dumped AFTER the first ‘round of convention votes’ not matter WHO ‘wins’, so ‘they’ can foist a Romney or Bush or worse?? on us.

Like ‘they’ say, better to keep your ‘enemy’ or ‘not so close friend’ in the tent with you, rather than throw him out and he later comes back and pees in your tent.

As I posted on another thread:

Can you imagine what they’d be saying if Trump had hired the entire Bush financial team, plus the crook Neil Bush? Or if Trump was not only being heavily funded by McConnell’s superpac, but was actually coordinating with it? Their heads would explode from the sheer volume of their anti-Trump screaming fits.

Hypocrisy and double standards, the fuels that keep the Cruz defenders up and running.

Cruz campaign theme, “by any means necessary”
