We DO understand completely. Cruz trying to backdoor the nomination is EXACTLY the same as the "if you can't win what you want in Congress, go through the courts" logic the Establishment has been using for years.
I, for one, am absolutely fed up, sick and tired of the Bush-Clinton-Obama parsing of what the meaning of "is" is/the law means what it means the way I read it and interpret is BS that's been going on in Washington for decades.

The guy who gets a majority of the delegates wins the nomination. Not the guy with the “most,” the guy with a majority.
If no majority, then delegates decide. So who the delegates are can matter very much.
No one told Trump until last week and now he and all his cultists are mad.
It is a vast majority.
And why would an outsider spend “years” to make rule changes? Your thought processes are so MYOPIC and can only thought of in an establishment point of view. You’re so deep you can’t even see the grass around you.
Where is the vote? Where is the consent of the governed? Or has the GOPe given up all that as pretense?

And he’s had many years to actually get involved, try to change what he didn’t like and learn about the process.
