Cruz Attacks Matt Drudge [AUDIO]
Daily Caller ^ | 4/11/16 | Steve Guest

Posted on 04/11/2016 4:21:10 PM PDT by markomalley

Sen. Ted Cruz claims that Roger Stone, The Daily Caller Men’s Fashion editor, “decides” what Matt Drudge posts on his website Drudge Report.

In an interview with Mike Slater on “The Mike Slater Show” Monday, Cruz said, “If people want to get on the “Trump train,” they can. I actually think we need real and meaningful solutions to the problems in this country, and as president my focus is going to be on three things: jobs, freedom and security.”

Slater asked Cruz what he thought of the Drudge Report and the Texas senator replied, “Look, Drudge Report over the years has done a good job highlighting the excesses of the left and the excesses of liberalism, and about the past month the Drudge Report has basically become the attack site for the Donald Trump campaign.”

“And so every day they have the latest Trump attack. They’re directed at me. It — by all appearances, Roger Stone now decides what’s on Drudge, and most days they have a six-month-old article that is some attack on me, and it’s — whatever the Trump campaign is pushing that day will be the banner headline on Drudge.”

“By the way, they no longer cover news. Remember they used to have things like election results? They don’t put those on Drudge anymore. When we win a state, suddenly the state doesn’t matter. You know Colorado — there was no red siren on Drudge when we won all 34 delegates in Colorado. That wasn’t news, because — I mean listen, that’s fine,” Cruz said.

Later Cruz said, “My number one priority is bringing jobs back to America, raising wages for everyone, making it easier for people struggling to achieve the American Dream. That’s my focus. And I’m going to let others worry about the silly political game and the circus.”

Not being privy to the PACs response to the FEC (and I assume the query was answered as the FEC wouldn't cotton to being ignored) of course I don't know for sure. Occam's Razor, I'm just assuming the most likely scenario.

Its far more likely than some of tabloid inspired explanations I've seen on FR.

Do you realize how sad you sound? He was a busboy so that makes him a conservative and eligible to be president. So, that means Obama, the community organizer, is more qualified than Cruz.

Reminds me, Roger Stone is posting home addresses of Cruz voters in Colorado. Shouldn’t that be illegal?

Sounds like it. But then I've been told here that Stone has no relation to the Trump campaign.

You’re right, Cruz supporters are a shrinking minority here on FR. However it’s because d-bag Trump supporters like you who have driven many good conservatives from this site. Happy with yourself?

Totally agree...Drudge supports Trump, disparages Cruz each day, no question about it...

He’s horrible.

Altura, I'm the horrible one, yet you have Cruzers on this thread accusing Drudge of being an "anti-semite." The guy who did that, Editor, is literally a member of a religious cult too. He's Hebrew Roots and condemns 90 percent of FReepers to hell because they eat bacon and believe in the Trinity. Then you have other Cruzers like the late Edmund Wright, and now Skeeter, wanting to punch people with their limp wrists.

You see? Many Cruzers are violent, wild animals, foaming at the mouth. Fortunately for America and the world, Trump will stop them by stumping their bread-faced leader Ted Cruz, thus halting their genocidal plans!

Stone left Trump’s campaign months ago. If you can find a money trail, post it. Otherwise, you are smearing Trump for the actions of a supporter, not a surrogate.

Cruz the Unipatsy has got a bright red mark that looks like a hand on the side of his face...

The Democrats in Wisconsin sure knew what they were doing when they crossed over to make sure the Crluzer didn't wash out of the race.

LOL! That covers nothing but Cruz stuff. Where are the non-Cruz, non-Trump stories?

NO.... he should be rewarded.
Some of these traitors need to be a bit more terrified of their fellow, “patriots”.

What’s the worst that could happen?

I would like to know why all the Trump people are not more concerned about Trump’s involvement with Roger Stone.

Because it doesn't matter in the least.

I wish that were true, but aside from a few zots, voting numbers average the same now as they were in January and February. So if Cruzers left, then they must have been replaced by an equal number of loyal, patriotic, and non-violent Trump supporters.

Maybe these phony Americans would behave better if their patriotic neighbors knew how they voted on stuff... publishing their addresses would really facilitate that.

you know, like TED did to non compliant republicans in other states?

You’ve been harping about the vote totals on threads all day? What would that prove to you? Nothing! You’ve convinced yourself that Trump was cheated rather than admit that he crapped the bed in Colorado.

My number one priority is bringing jobs back to America, raising wages for everyone,

Does anyone know what raising all those wages does to the ones on Social Security? Of course it is their own fault for not creating a golden retirement like any crooked congressman.
