Donald Trump’s Delegate Manager Begins Employing Same Tactics He Used for Ronald Reagan in 1980
Breitbart News ^ | 11 Apr 2016 | MATTHEW BOYLE

While the tactics of chief Donald Trump rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% to win delegates without voters come under intense scrutiny, a quiet, thus-far-little-focused-on development has occurred that could provide a ray of hope for the Trump team fighting political insiders on their home turf. Paul Manafort, Trump’s new Republican National Convention manager, just delivered not only a big win in Michigan’s delegate game: He undercut Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) by throwing a separate victory to Ohio Gov. John Kasich. CNN reported on Saturday evening: Ted Cruz suffered a rare convention loss Saturday after delegates backing John Kasich and Donald Trump boxed him out of key positions in the Michigan delegation. The Texas senator’s campaign ran eight delegates for eight committee spots and lost every one, alleging it was ‘double-crossed’ by Kasich supporters. The Michigan delegation picked one Trump supporter, Matt Hall, and one Kasich supporter, Judi Schwalbach, for the two seats on the powerful rules committee. The Cruz campaign lost votes for both seats. CNN’s Tom LoBianco added in his report that this loss is a major defeat for Cruz—and win for Trump—because seats on the convention’s rules committed are “highly coveted prizes for their role in shaping a contested convention in Cleveland.”

Good!

You have to fight fire with fire.

Or, what’s sauce for the goose, it’s sauce for the gander (sp?)

But you get the idea of what I am trying to say...

I haven’t listened to Cruz in the last week or so because I just can’t take him anymore but last I knew he couldn’t get through a sentence without talking about Trump.

Cruz sickens me....there is something repulsive about him.

Manafort has worked for both Bushes and the RNC. Don’t get much more GOPe than that. Bet you’re OK with it it now.

Extra credit for not throwing in a twisted spelling of Trump though.

I am sick to death of reading all the little nicknames people on both sides apparently think are so cute and clever: Trumpbot, Cruzbot, Lyin' Ted, Drumphf, etc. etc.. Not sure exactly when we all regressed to the 6h grade.

That includes both candidates at this point as well.

Manafort has worked for both Bushes

Also Reagan, but I guess you're not okay with that now.

By the way, Cruz literally has a pro-homosexual attorney working as legal counsel for his campaign, as well as running a Pro-Cruz PAC. The guy looks like a flamer to me as well. That’s who Cruz has working for him. Also Jeff Roe, a psycopath best known for spreading false rumors of candidates dropping out at the last minute, just like Cruz allegedly didn’t do to Carson.

Trump only hired Paul a week ago, and already his efforts are paying off...guess Trump really can find the right people for the job and get it done.

As time goes on, I expect we will slowly start to hear about more Trump delegate victories.

He brought in an exert in insider politics to battle someone who is using insider politics to steal delegate spots.

And I do say steal, because if the people of a district voted for Trump, then the delegate should be a Trump support to represent them.

If Cruz comes in and replaces that person with one of his own people, then it makes sense Trump has to fight fire with fire, only to keep what he rightfully won in the first place.

Manafort the GOPe insider guy is Trump’s guy. Trump has sold out to the GOPe.

“Manafort the GOPe insider guy is Trump’s guy. Trump has sold out to the GOPe.”

Reagan hired Manafort. Reagan wasn’t GOPe.

Trump is simply following the actions of the great Ronald Reagan.

He worked for both Bushes, hence he is a GOPe cheater. Hey, I am just following Trumpette logic- which happens to change based on who is losing.

Poor Teddy Bares. Claiming victory for the 2nd place guy. They approve of Dirty Lyin' Teddy and his tactics, since he is such a great Constitutionalist. He is like some other really smart people, though.

He "didn't recall", like Hillary, being a Canadian Citizen, but found it timely to renounce when he began to run for President. Like Obama, he has had his personal records sealed. He "didn't recall", like Hillary, that he had major loans to his campaign, which he failed to disclose.

Yeah, Lyin' Teddy is a good moniker. Sleazy lawyer is a good description.

Poor Teddy Bares. They love their lying' Loser Teddy!
