It pretty much does in my view. Making it difficult for the regular, non party hack people to decide is what, if it is not undemocratic?

No offense, but you sound like a democrat complaining about voter ID laws. Apples and oranges, maybe, but the complaint sounds the same. "Disenfranchisement!"

Fact is Trump has considerably more delegates than votes, proportionately. Isn’t that an unfair process in your view?

Shouldn’t the delegates all be determined proportionately according to the primary vote? In your opinion.

I personally would prefer a primary as well, and I think they should change it.

I just don't have sympathy for people who don't put forth the effort, then complain that they didn't participate. Whatever it was "designed" to do, it wouldn't have worked out that way if voters weren't lazy/apathetic. If you show up and get screwed, then you've got a right to complain. But if you don't...then blame yourself if yo don't like the result.

“Trump is calling the results “totally unfair” . . .

It is time for Trump to land the big jet and get his feet on the ground, and his head into the contest.

In other words, get to work . . . if he really wants to secure the GOP nomination.

Trump is using the publicity of the unfair system to bolster his numbers with people disgusted with establishment politics.. it will only help him from here on out through California.. brilliant move

This is why Cruzies are spinning so furiously today. Hasn’t been this bad since Iowa. Ted took a huge hit in CO to his “principled conservative” brand. Pyrrhic victory if there ever was one.

You didn’t understand. With less candidates Trump would have had more votes, those votes would have been more proportional.

But all that is aside from the problem with 60,000 people supposedly supporting Cruz 100%.

I look forward to you defending the position there was no corruption in Colorado.

60,000 people voted in the caucuses. If you don’t care enough to get off your keister and go, you’ve got no room to complain.

In a country of 320 million. Impressive turnout for the Cuban-Canadian. Trump got 1.1 million votes in FL alone. That puts into perspective Cruz’s caucus “victories”.

“I’v foudn in life that people use percents when they want to fool you.”

Is that true 100 percent of the time?

More lies from the National Review.

Could you please point out the lies?

Just because the truth is not something you want to hear, doesn't negate the fact that it's the truth.

Do you really think you can right off the message as a lie just because you dislike the messenger?

Say, aren't you that weasel who repeatedly told lies about statements I'd made, then refused to identify the quote or post number where I supposedly made them, even after repeatedly being asked to do so?

Yeah, that's you. Still the same lying little sack.

Cruz’s supporters take great pride in the cozening talents of his lackeys: Dewey, Cheatham & Howe.
It’s certainly nothng to be proud of: Uniparty business-as-usual.

But then they insist that Trump should be more like him, then in the next breath they tell you that NYC is a cesspool of corruption.

No.. proportionate is according to the proportion of votes. It’s not hard math.

>> problem with 60,000 people supposedly supporting Cruz 100%.

That would be another problem with math. Read the rules again. It doesn’t take 100% of the vote to elect a delegate.

That does not make it undemocratic. In fact, on March 1, in community centers, gymnasiums, and churches across the state, 60,000 Colorado Republicans attended 2,917 precinct caucuses to elect delegates to the county assemblies and congressional-district conventions that convened during the following weeks.

Fewer than a tenth of the registered Republicans participated, by design. Of course it's undemocratic. Your average person doesn't even know about it, and if they go they would be voting for delegates out of a pool of party hacks they don't know. It's designed to let the country clubbers keep the riff raff out or their party.

You were/are concern trolling. No reason to debate you on that issue because you were being disingenuous.

Funny, you say you supported another candidate but always carrying water for Cruz. Gee, I wonder why that could be.

You are still not understanding how the number of votes per candidate changes with the number of candidates in the race at the time.

“Read the rules again. It doesn’t take 100% of the vote to elect a delegate.”

Back to the question; How many votes did Cruz, Kasich and Trump get?? There has to be a record somewhere like there is in every other state.

The question is still: In state’s with primaries, should the number of delegates for each candidate be equal to the proportion of votes for the candidate?

Would that be fair - in your opinion.

That is a red herring. The main issue is Colorado. Stay on topic.

No, I wasn't. You lied, then refused to back up what you said.

I'm "carrying water" for Cruz because I don't like Trump. I actually think Cruz is a lousy candidate. I just think Trump is worse.
