Separation of Church and State means that there is no official Religion and people have Freedom of Worship.
The loss of separation of Church & State under Obama is one of the reasons many of us are up in arms. The Government now feels that it can tell us to kill babies, pay to have babies killed, participate in marriages that violate our faith, allow our children to be indoctrinated with social values we abhore etc etc etc.
If you want an official State religion I suggest you consider moving and embracing Islam.

I understand the “separation” part as applying SOLELY to government, NOT to religions and their adherents. Only government is restricted, either in making laws, or in prohibiting free exercise.
I truly believe that Cruz understands this. I’m not so sure about Trump.
If you choose to not help elect a principled conservative vs Clinton, that’s on you.
Because you would rather point the finger of blame than take aim at the problem. Its easier to talk holier than thou when you have no skin in the game, when you have no people depending on you that will be hurt if your business fails.
Its a man who takes responsibility instead of a chance to flap his gums that says the games stinks, I play it because its the only one in town but I want to set the up economic incentives so that the game favors Americans and American jobs.

If Trump wants to run third party, knock himself out.
Currently, he’s running as a Republican. The GOP has a vested interest, indeed an obligation, to vet its nominee. The GOP isn’t a democracy, it’s an organization.
I’ve spent $40,000 of my own money and about 1000 hours of my time this year fielding and supporting anti-establishment candidates at all levels of government.
I’ve earned my say.
That is where we differ, I believe that based on what I have seen there is a risk that Cruz intends to enable his religion via his Presidency.
