Who is the unelectable charlatan? Not Trump.
Tell me how Cruz comes out of a contested convention and wins OH, FL, NV and VA, all states he must win to beat Hillary, and all states he came in a very distant third in the primary. How many disgruntled Trump supporters in those 50-50 purple states states need to stay home before Cruz has no chance? Answer: very few.
All the “ground game” in the world isn’t going to win it for Cruz after the debacle of a contested election. And when we have Hillary in the White House, we can thank Cruz’s outsized ego, because he didn’t have the grace to get out when he could no longer win the nomination at the ballot box.
Yes, Trump. He’ll never win a general. You’re being taken for a ride.

How does Cruz limp out of a contested convention which has split the party and then win over every one of the Trump supporters in OH, FL, VA, and NV that he just disenfranchised? If only a few percent in any one of those four states stays home Cruz loses.
