(Shhhhh.... I was trying to keep the discussion of this convoluted-goat-f**k-of-a-system limited to just the Primary season. It’s complicated enough, without bringing in the whole Electoral College side of things. But yes, you’re right. I was merely trying to point out that it’s against the law to give YOU or ME a golf club membership for our votes, but it’s perfectly legal to bribe these delegates in the Primary election, or the electors in the General election.)

If you are a sure-thing vote for Cruz, then there is no reason to bribe you. Cough, choke, I mean, “woo” you.

But if you’re not, then you open the door for wooing.

And yes, it’s only necessary to woo anyone if the vote is close. So if we get to June 7 and Trump doesn’t have 1237, and if Cruz doesn’t already have 1237 shadow, second-ballot votes, then don’t be afraid to email Cruz and say, “I’m a solid Cruz supporter, but I’m $500 short on being able to make it to the convention.” ;-)

Bur one third of Trump voters said they wouldn’t vote if the nominee wasn’t Trump. Those are paying attention.

With 47% voting for the democrat, no matter what - even if she’s in a jail cell on voting day - a small percentage of Republicans sitting out the election or writing in Trump will hand it to Hillary. Cruz will lose.

What people don’t get is that these TRUMP delegates are Cruz supporters.

TRUMP’s “Earned Delegates” are Cruz supporters, in many states. TRUMP’s delegates are not his, but frauds for Cartel Cruz.

Trump’s letting it be known. He’s exposed the corruption, legal or not, and isn’t even elected yet. mWithout him, this wouldn’t even be discussed.

Let’s see if anyone cares....

ROTFLOL

Sorry I spilled the beans. I don’t know if I can get all of them back into the pot. They seem to be jumping around all over the place.

Seems like this summer is going to be a ‘hot town, summer in the city’ kind of convention:

(ok, ok, I know I’m dreaming, LOL.)

even so it does not take away the fact this was said right?

even so it does not take away the fact this was said first on MSNBC, right?

And in case you hadn't noticed, the guy who said this has already spun his remarks backwards so far that he's virtually retracted them.

I believe this whole narrative - that Trump probably won’t reach 1237, and that it’s therefore anyone’s game in an open convention, is a false premise being foisted on the public in hopes of creating a self fulfilling prophesy.

The GOPe desperately doesn’t want Trump (or Cruz), but yet the voters clearly do. Their only hope of stopping an outsider from winning is to cast doubt on the inevitability of Trump winning, so that the other candidates stay in the race and split the votes.

The best way to cast doubt on the inevitability of a Trump win is to keep talking about how fickle the delegates are, how quickly the convention would unravel, etc..

The bottom line is, I believe things are looking a lot better for Trump than the GOPe would have us think. 1237 no problem.

I believe it, too. After all, the two dominant parties, their minions in the press, and their masters, the globalist elites, have long since turned the art of manipulating the public into a science. They mean to keep control over this country, whatever it takes, and will do everything they can to keep the only real insider out of the White House.

You’d think by now, that most people would have sorted out why every major power broker is trying to stop Trump, and why it is that he keeps winning anyway.

I guess my overall feeling is in two areas:

Absolutely nobody has any idea what is going to happen tomorrow, let alone next week, and certainly not in Columbus. The media is putting anyone on the air who will give them a headline they can banner for 6 hours.

As part of that, all the predicted conspiracy theorists (especially here) who predict how all the people on the other side of an issue are going to gang up, conspire and use some black magic to deny their candidate his well deserved yada yada yada are simply trying to sell “oats that have been through the horse once.”

Secondly, as “hate filled, etc.” campaigns, this is nothing. This is amateur night compared to the integration candidates v. segregation candidates in the ‘60s or the 1860-1880s.

Heck, we’re well into the electoral process and nobody has even been shot or hanged yet!

PS, I was/am a hard core conservative R, but Gary Hart rallies were THE place to pick up good looking girls, and have THEM take YOU home. If a man couldn’t get lucky there, he wouldn’t even have been successful walking into a women’s prison with a handful of pardons!

The current crop of political “upsets” is nothing compared to a typical George Wallace or George McGovern presidential rally, complete with protestors, cops beating heads, tear gas, rocks, bottles, etc.

Ah, the good old days.

There should be a required ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Convention’ with the helpful phrase ‘DON’T PANIC’ on the cover.

Too many being sucked in by Establishment psy-ops.

“I’m a solid Cruz supporter, but I’m $500 short on being able to make it to the convention.”

I think that is what these unlimited donations are for. And the larger donations to the national. It would make sense to limit them to the actual expenses. (Of course those $500 bar bills could probably go into that!)

I was thinking of creating a “Go-Fund-Me” account for my teen daughter that is going to state. A way to get others involved in the whole thing. (And yes - defray some of the cost!)

I don’t think the beans will ever go back in the pot at this point.

And more beans to come.... Since the majority of people get their news from NBC, ABC, CBS, the majority of people aren’t even tuned into this whole election fiasco yet. Wait until they start to find out about it!

No, no, no. No matter how much people say that Ted Cruz is just playing the game - it doesn’t change the fact that Cruz is being shady and is in fact stealing delegates from Trump. Like I said, it’s not illegal but it’s unethical, plain and simple.

And Trump supporters are all so reasonable, right?

Probably more on the logical side. We really want our votes to count!

Now that I was able to vote for Trump in the Republican primary in Florida, I’m changing my status to “independent”. I’ve had enough of the Republican/Uni-Party!

I think what this guy is saying is if Trump gets to 1,100 delegates the RNC wouldn’t dare try to stop him.
