It isn’t about following rules it is about the abuse of rules.
The Cruz camp purposely manipulated the rules in an unethical way. The chairman of the Colorado GOP had no intention of letting rump get any delegates regardless of support levels. That is voter fraud and that is what demodogs do.
Caucusing for a delegate who goes somewhere else to caucus for another delegate then goes somewhere else who caucus for another delegate is not an election.

If they can display where CO broke National or CO GOP regulations then they can contest the seating of the CO delegation at the convention. There might be tit for tat though.
Yes and the Iowa delegates too, after all Ted retweeted a CNN tweet there so there’s that too. And heck how about the Louisiana one where Ted outworked Trump yet again. And how about the Alaska delegates cause it was too far for Trump to go. And for that matter how Texas was unfair because Cruz is from there. And Wisconsin since Scott Walker. And Utah particularly because of Mitt. And and and any delegate not for Trump shouldn’t seated.

The rules are that they can be changed before the convention.
So, since the process in Colorado had so blateltly rigged “rules”, the RNC on the national level should vote to exclude the Colorado delegates — just to restore the RNC primary process credibility as viewed on the national level.
BTW, this would be within the “rules”
for all those who insists rules are to be followed.

I once lived in Colorado, and was there for 2 decades. The courts tend to like to override the voters votes, and obviously they don’t want any candidate competition. It’s a Cruz only race...so yes, Colorado hates their voters. Eliminate the expense and the circus that goes with it. It’s a dead state. Serves no purpose except to take up space and drain resources.

Exclude conservative delegates pledged to the most (and only) conservative candidate in the race? What a really stupid question that is. The answer is no.
What’s the next stupid question, “Do you want some guy to come stab you in the face?” No.
“Do you want to get AIDS”? No.
“Do you think Hillary is pretty”. No.
“Are you a big fan of Lena Dunham”? No.

Bear: That isn’t true anymore. It was when I got into the party—it was run by the squishes who did what party leaders told them to do. But since 2010, The Tea Parties have moved into the R party structures in a big way. The folks that show up at caucus and assembly are overwhelmingly conservative these days. And that’s why Cruz did so well. Were Carson still in the race, he might have given Cruz a run for his money, but he wasn’t. Heck, Kasich delegates got more votes than Trump delegates at the CD1 assembly, and Kasich isn’t that popular here in CO. But Trump had very little support at the caucuses or at the assemblies. When you add his low level of support to his non-existent get-out-the-vote effort for national delegate, you get a shut-out.
Well, Rubio got 27% of the vote, and Cruz got 17% of the vote, in Florida. Trump got less than 50% of the vote.
But somehow, he “corruptly” got all 99 of the delegates.
Funny how rules work.
