DEMOCRAT STRATEGIST: Bernie Supporters Will Cross Over to Vote for Trump Instead of Hillary
Gateway Pundit ^ | April 15,2016 | Jim Hoft

Democratic strategist Harlan Hill told Neil Cavuto today that up to 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters will cross over to Donald Trump if Bernie is eliminated.

Harlan Hill: Almost 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters say they will not support Hillary Clinton in the general election. And I expect that number to grow.

Neil Cavuto: Alright, will where will they go?

Harlan Hill: Well, I think they will either stay home or they will cross over.

Neil Cavuto: Who will they cross over to?

Harlan Hill: Donald Trump. That’s it. They’re not going to vote for Ted Cruz… I think that there is common ground that if Donald Trump plays his cards right he could appeal to a lot of Democrats.

<< The difference is where you’re going to end up after they implement their policies. >>

America split in half, I’m afraid, but the parties will be forced to rebuild their corrupt system to align more with the will of the people as reflected in their primary votes.

TRUMP’s candidacy has exposed the rot, so has Bernies, and people are now educated to the system that made boobs of them all.

The people now realize that when they vary from the Establishment norm in these primaries, and fail to vote according to the desired Establishment outcome, the system kicks in and the gates to the nomination are closed to the outsider, short of resorting to ramming them open.

“Gezz, you asked once what the meaning of vengeance was, and you were told. What don’t you get about that?”

Just trying to nail down, dragnet2, if vengeance was the only driving force behind supporters of Sanders and Trump. Each to his own, but I want a solid, consistent, conservative agenda put in place. That is the best “vengeance” on the political elites, whether they be Dims or Republicans.

I think a trump/sanders ticket would win bigger than trump/Cruz or trump/anyGOPe It's not just the college crowd that likes Bernie. Plenty of middle age working class dems like him better than hillary.

It's not about policy, it's about like ability

> If we don’t protect life in the womb and defend marriage, the moral degradation—already bad—will have future generations in a moral cesspool.

It should come as no surprise to any here that our recent generations are a moral cesspool. Many people in that cesspool vote, vote often and usually for rats. I agree trying to alter the moral decay is important. But stopping amnesty, ejecting illegal aliens, and securing all borders (from aliens and drugs) are absolutely critical because if those people become part of the voting base, it is socialism from that point forward until we are no different than Venezuela. The next most critical thing is economic growth. Policy wise, these two issues make or break us, and the rest becomes addressable or irreparable. If we are lucky, they don’t get Sanders, we don’t get Hillary and those two critical issues are directly taken on. So the question is, do we feel lucky, well do we!?

I couldn’t agree with you more.

“Both Trump and Sanders see issues of illegal aliens,”

That’s absurd. Sanders wants to make citizens out of the illegal aliens and Trump wants to deport them. Yet, you think Sanders supports will switch to Trump?

I don’t think it is damning.

Both Trump and Sanders see issues of illegal aliens, trade and jobs and safety as being paramount. That is why the both of them are resonating.

They disagree on how to implement the change.

Exactly!!

Look sharpy, if you want to know all about what the Sanders folks will do in this scenario, or if ya want to, “Nail something down” why don’t you ask them? Just a wild guess but this is probably not a real good venue to do that.

Cruz supporters appear to be fine with corrupt, weaselly, lying, immoral, pandering, bought and paid for politicians.

Hillary would be a natural choice for them.

““Democratic strategist Harlan Hill told Neil Cavuto today that up to 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters will cross over to Donald Trump if Bernie is eliminated.”

That’s probably the most damning statement one could make about Trump and his policies, that they would attract the same demographic that is attracted to socialism.”

>>>Not necessarily. A lot of Bernie’s voters are college children - and I do mean children - who can’t think much beyond this level, coming out of compulsary government propaganda schooling. They didn’t want the ugly old witch and they probably don’t want Elmer Gantry, either.

Older Bernie people, if they’re not paid anarchists, may have the same “don’t wants”.

What would Sanders’s supporters see in Trump that would make them vote for him?

He's the other American running.

So your good with Cruz supporters crossing over the Hillary Clinton when Trump KO’s Cruz?

Well, I'm not exactly "OK" with it, but it's inevitable, isn't it?

Americans support Americans, globalists support globalists.
