NEW YORK — A stunningly distracted crowd of hundreds of Republicans almost entirely ignored Ted Cruz's speech at the New York City GOP gala on Thursday night, instead chattering at their dinner tables, standing and taking selfies. Several casually left the dinner altogether.
The crowd's stark disregard for Cruz's remarks followed months of controversy over Cruz's suggestion in January that Donald Trump has "New York values."

They aren’t “vengeful and stupid”. They’re proud Americans who don’t appreciate a Canadian dissing them, and have no problem giving him the business.

All this bears watching. Those so quick to form a opinion, like my fellow Freepers that posted the first articles on this “snub” earlier this week, may be jumping a shark, or are they paid agents set about to establish a narrative. Can you imagine that? It hurts to think this.
A controlled debate to set the perimeters the “3” candidates still standing, set at a neutral organization that is based in true conservative values, is the only way to sort this out. Mind you, I don’t feel it should be three, but working with what we have.
If we continue at this pace, Trumpers and Cruzers will have so much enmity for each other, we’ll have a Hill presidency with warring factions of Trumpers, Cruzers, and Sanderers(rhymes with panderers don’t it) which Hill, with the apparatus already in place, can use to destroy any opposition to the one world globalists goals of a soviet style socialism that can control the world.
Think before you post drivel set to make any republican look bad. Any of these will beat having Hillary as overlord

And if FOX was paying attention to what they were broadcasting they could have phoned in a request to check the plugs on all microphones...
I do not know who cut the podium mike, but I distinctly heard the dramatic change in the audio at the time of the Ted Cruz speech.
And I was expecting the sound problem to be corrected, but it wasn’t.
I think FOX NEWS owes the public a re-airing of the Ted Cruz speech in its entirety.

I noticed that in the Ted Cruz speech at 13:17, that is the exact moment his podium mike was cut. He just said, “If you cannot win the primary,” And then no sound whatever.
Rush says this was result of orchestrated dirty trick.
Rush has turned into a low info establishment hack. He’s still got an exceptional mind, but he’s biased as all get-out in favor of Cruz, who he refuses to examine with open eyes.

I remember when Rush was well respected on this site. Now we get lots of comments, such as the above, which makes FR sound more and more like the DUmp every day.
The truth makes us sound like DU? Hardly. We listened to Rush for years. It’s partly what brought us over from the dark side. We even had the $50 access for a couple of years. But the more you know what is going on, once the veil is lifted, the easier it is to see people like Rush for what they are- one of the many who feel it’s their job to “explain” to “interpret” so us rubes can understand what’s going on. I get it, he’s just making money, he needs something to talk about every day. But this whole nonsense about Fox intentionally messing with the audio IS idiotic.
Sorry to burst your bubble but your ‘opinion’ is not the truth. It’s your trump influenced opinion. Period. If you were a conservative at heart like Rush and a lot of us on FR you would know that Rush ain’t just in this for the money.
