Is There Another Colorado Coming?
PoliZette ^ | April 13, 2016 | Ashley Pratte

Still reeling after Sen. Ted Cruz’s delegate sweep in Colorado, voters are waking up to the fact that delegates are the ones who will determine the Republican nominee and that the primaries and caucuses are just for show. What’s more, there might just be another Colorado on the horizon, where voters will get no say at all.

Up next is the state of Wyoming, a state which, along with Colorado and North Dakota, has chosen to not hold a nominating contest this year, which means no primary or caucus vote. Instead, Republican voters there will be represented by county delegates at a convention April 14-16. They will select the statewide delegates who will represent Wyoming at the Republican National Convention in July in Cleveland.

Wyoming holds 29 delegates: 14 will be elected at the convention and 12 have already been selected at county conventions — nine of which are Cruz supporters. One delegate went to Sen. Marco Rubio, one went to Donald Trump, and one is uncommitted. The remaining three delegates slots automatically go to members of the state GOP.

After the results in Colorado, a decision made last August when the state party there decided voters would not weigh in, one can expect Trump and his team to take Wyoming seriously and put forth a strong effort to make sure their supporters are selected to the remaining 14 slots at the Wyoming convention.

Wyoming is the final state to opt not to hold a nominating contest. Following the Cowboy State are states such as Delaware, Arizona and Virginia, which will hold their state conventions on April 30 — following their state’s caucuses or primaries. Most of the other states have gone more as expected.

Colorado was a Trump/Media event.

They have an intentional unwillingness to understand the facts.

Its interesting to read these threads to witness the assertive ignorance of the Trumpons with the nomination processes.

Low information folks getting all twitterpated as they become aware of the complexities and how each State addresses them.

And they seem to fly their "I'm Stupid Flag" with such enthusiasm.

Nothing nefarious? Just following the rules? Uh, no...

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/04/15/hillary-13/

“I’m the former Chairman of the Pueblo County Republican Party and the person who developed the Slates for National Delegates for the Trump team. The Colorado GOP website was filled with errors posted about the National Delegates,” Becky Mizel told Breitbart News.

Mizel took a photograph of a ballot in Congressional District 7 that included ONLY the ballot numbers of delegate candidates, NOT the names of the candidates as required by state bylaws.”

People in these states (Colorado and Wyoming) should raise h*ll about not having their chance to vote themselves for the candidate of their choice...
They are no more than peasants, serfs, and commoners while the “Dukes, Earls, and Noblemen do the selecting of the “King” for them...

People, your opinion does not matter anymore....

They had a chance to express their disgust yesterday at the Trump disinfranchised voter rally in Colorado.....100 people showed up........

It is the Trumpests who are drunk on his empty populist rhetoric.

There are Low Information Journalists just like there are Low Information Voters. Mr. Trump has mastered both.

Just my opinion, and I voted for Cruz by the way -—

I think the woman who came on FOX news, the Delegate from the DC area, I think, who said that she would vote for Hillary IF her chosen candidate did not win, or if Trump won the nomination -— well, she should be stripped of her credentials and replaced. ANY REPUBLICAN DELEGATE who goes on national TV and says they will vote for Hillary over ANY Republican candidate should receive the very same treatment. Delegates are supposed to be Party faithfuls, and do their utmost best for the Republican voters they represent -— we held our nose for McCain and Romney for all the good it did us, but we DIDN’T vote for Obama just because “our” candidate didn’t win!!!

Fine with me, as long as we go by the rules ofr the state. Rules cannot be changed in the middle of the nomination. The states are aware of this and often schedule their primaries at a time that will give them more control over the nomination process. The US Constitution would have to be changed so that the Federal election can usurp this power from the ststes. All candidates were aware of this.

So Trump's low information voters, who never gave a crap about how nominations were done in the past, will be mad? Poor babies...........tune up the violin strings. Bet we won't hear any pissing and moaning from the little darlin's if Manafort is able to clean Cruz's clock in Wyoming....using the same rules. Funny how that works...........

I swear these people act just like liberals. This is the exact same non-reason that fills the pages of DummieUnderground.

The Colorado GOP did not hold a presidential preference poll in 2016.

Isn't this the type of action that Democrats advocate?

We voters like our illusions of franchise and that our participation and our votes expressing our opinions about our self-rule are important and valued.

Unfortunately, Colorado Control pulled back the party curtain, and then Trump forced US to take a good, long look at what we usually don't bother to see.

The reactions ever since hint at why the Uniparty PTBs don't want to dwell on what's behind their curtain.

It's like Agent K says:

"...the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT!
You betcha. Happy voting!

Never said he was but Trumps the one who said the people should protest so it seems fair to attach his name to it.
