If it’s class warfare it’s between the political class and everyone else, and Trump isn’t causing it. The political class is. America is rapidly becoming The Hunger Games, the political class and their billionaire masters vs. everyone else.

Right there is where it goes from just politics to standard economic class warfare. And when Trump and Sanders the Socialist rant about how "the system" is stacked against the average person, people aren't just thinking "billionaires". It's everyone who makes more than they do who they view as the villians.

And if you see it as the Hunger Games, that was an economic dictatorship where people were literally compelled to work in specific jobs and slave away. That's the exact same thing that Bernie is telling his supporters.

So if that's the road you guys are going down, that's your choice. But don't expect the rest of the conservative movement to follow in your little pseudo-Marxist revolution.

If you don’t see that the political class are mostly hirelings of the people who finance them, then you are letting your ideology blind you to reality. In that way you remind me of Marxists. You say “The GOP — stupidly — adopted a liberal immigration policy that was against the wishes of a majority of its voters”. There was nothing “stupid” about it. It’s what the billionaire class wants. When I saw the head of the Chamber of Commerce say in 2014 that they would work to defeat any Republican candidate who ran against amnesty it opened my eyes. What will it take to open yours?

Even if you don’t like Trump, once must admit his family is a vast improvement over the buttugly mass of vermin currently in the white hut.

Was trump wrong to say Hillary would make a good president in 2008?

Doesn't matter if he said it...What matters is if he believed it...And I don't doubt for a second that he didn't believe it even if he said it...

If Trump is successful at making the dividing line in American politics a class warfare battle against those who feel "left out", and everyone else, he will have adopted and be pushing the absolute core of leftist thinking. It will be worse than a surrender -- it will actually be joining the enemy.

Doesn't matter what you call it...Whatever it is, a vast majority of the primary voting Republicans are going for it, including me...

Why not just form a new party and call it "The Peoples' Party"?

Don't need to...When we take over the Republican Party we can just rename it...

The greatest goal of free republic is to defend the conservative values of our nation.

The goal post has been moved...Where have you been??? The goal now is to SAVE the Nation, period...You don't know what's at stake, or you don't care???

Of course, allowing a Hillary victory because we can’t allow an ideologically-impure candidate to run is FR’s goal - NOT!

Conservative leaders have a much better shot at accessing and persuading a Republican President to adopt at least some of our values and positions than ANY Dem.

Thanks for all your hard work, BFAC. The Left/Cruz/Media/GOPe propaganda machine is working overtime on this forum to spam it with anti-Trump hatred. They will ultimately fail, of course, but they won't give up their silliness until their unprincipled leader, Ted Cruz, tells them to.

Heh -- fat chance of that. To do that, you have to have people at the grass roots get involved in local party politics, get elected as delegates to their state's GOP committees, then run for national etc..

And we've already learned Trump's people either can't quite get the hang of that, or don't want to.

The GOP will be around long after Trump is dead and buried. That's just reality.

Well, where I'm from, getting only 37% of the votes in the primary doesn't count as the "vast majority". Must be Common Core or something.
