It's a Ted Cruz sweep in Wyoming.
Cruz won 14 of 14 Republican National Convention delegates up for grabs at the Wyoming state convention here Saturday. The crowd here was clearly in Cruz's corner, as the Texas senator was the only candidate to make the trip to Casper -- ahead of a major snowstorm -- and Sarah Palin, scheduled to speak for Trump, previously canceled.

Cruz would lodge complaints if he lost CO and WY in this way. Or maybe he wouldn’t - he might just accept the system as it is.
GOP voters previously just accepted these voting systems without question.
Trump is creating a movement whereby people start to question systems established by “experts” - NATO, UN, delegate selection, etc.
I don’t think much would change with Cruz.
It is pretty sad, isn’t it??? That’s the way communist countries operate....

It’s not whining, it’s addressing a corrupt system. And you know if Trump was shutting out Cruz in convention states then all the Cruz supporters would claim Trump is a cheater and can only win by manipulation and not votes.
So if the shoe was on the other foot, you’d all be saying the opposite and you know it.

Pretend that Jeb! was still in the race with Trump and Cruz were still running. We all know that Wyoming and Colorado would have gone for Jeb! Bush.
Could you imagine the outrage of the Cruz folks had that happened?

Almost like they wanted to give delegates to someone else besides Cruz so it wouldn’t look so rigged but don’t want Kasich, the only other one besides Trump to have even one more.
The GOP needs to dump Trump at all costs. Why would you want a nominee that is a sure loser? Down the ticket candidates will get blown away.
The great day happens in 3 days when Cruz loses 95 delegates.
Trump can’t sit for a real interview without embarrassment and he can’t run a national campaign (or hire people who can), yet he’s going to make an entire country “great again”??

I thought FReepers were agreed that there were no victories to be gained by moving to the squishy middle, as we found out with Dole, McCain, and Romney.
