Not so mysterious.

Romney's particular brand of Christianity is simply unacceptable to many. Millions of 'Bible Belt' Christians who en mass declined to support him in 2012.

Now comes Cruz propelled by strong support of another (Beck) of that sect which Bible Belters seem to strongly disapprove of. I am not familiar with Cruz's own sect, this Dominionism thing, but my sense is that it as well is not popular in certain regions.

Me? I voted for Romney in 2012 as well as in 2008/2012 primaries and when he ran for Governor and earlier for Senator here in the Commonwealth. Boy, am I sorry now.

I am hoping for a contested convention so that the future direction of the Republican Party can be set. I am sick of the politicians claiming they are for smaller government while voting the opposite. I need to know once and for all whether they have abandoned the treatise of limited government. I need to know whether the party labeled as the Party of 'No' is willing to become the Party of "Hell No!".

Shut down the government? Hell yeah! Do whatever it takes to bring spending below 19% of GDP. That is why I support the only Conservative in the race - Ted Cruz.

I would love it if Donald Trump morphed into a Conservative. But to date, I have not seen that happen. And I am not about to peddle the lie that he has. If the emperor has no clothes, I'm going to say so. To hell with Groupthink.

Yep. There is no other plausible explanation for it. We were catching 2 or 3 per day a few weeks ago. They usually had no writing on their home page, and no state mentioned.

They had nothing on their home page and no state indicated because they didn't want to risk being challenged as to their location or anything on the home page. We can expect more of these stealth GOPe troll attacks between now and November, we can take that to the bank.

The idea that the party is OUR private club is an illusion with which the Elites have, for years, managed to hoodwink the people. It is only now, with DJT exposing the reality behind the curtain, that we see the choke hold power that has been held over us for decades.

You are correct, this needs to be corrected. I’m fairly certain they won’t give it up without violence. They’ll try every other option they can think of, but in the end, if they are losing and are out of options, they will resort to: “By any and all means”, as they have done throughout the ages.
