Breitbart ^ | 4/20/2016 | Charles Hurt

Posted on 04/20/2016 8:02:15 PM PDT by libsdrinkkoolaid

Mere weeks ago, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of Texas pressured Ohio Gov. John Kasich to get out of the race for the Republican nomination because he had no mathematical chance of winning....

No, Cruz is not bound by the claim, because Buckeye John is still spreading the liberal gospel.

Not at all.

Cruz has a very realistic path to the nomination via the second ballot.

Kasich has no such support or potential.

In the course of this long-running, tumultuous primary fight, one thing not a single voter has stood up and said is: “We need someone who can work the system and lobby the smoke-filled backrooms of a convention hall in order to gather the most delegates in the fourth round of voting!”

Nice!

Kasich is waiting for IN to become his second state. Then he can match Newton Gingrich from 2012, who kept saying that all he needed to win was GA and SC.

"If you want to stop Donald Trump, there is only one campaign and only one candidate who has done so repeatedly and who has any plausible path to do so," Mr. Cruz told a local Utah television station before that state’s contest last month[...]

"For Kasich, it’s mathematically impossible," said Mr. Cruz.

That is because now the exact same thing can be said of Mr. Cruz and his hopeless campaign.

As of this week, it is mathematically impossible for Mr. Cruz to reach the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination.

Now, Cruz's path and Kasich's path to the nomination are identical. The "principled conservative" shows his rank hypocrisy.

It's all over now except for the incessant Cruz whining...

The Revolution is ON!

Vote Trump

I don’t need to read the tea leaves to know that Trump is going to get 1,237 delegates and some more.

Possibly so, he got more delegates than Cruz last night.

I’m beginning to think all in politics are phonies, some to a greater extent than others.

Winning on a second ballot while going into the convention down hundreds of delegates is simply a win for both parties establishment. They get rid of Trump, and Cruz, who will surely lose the general is done for good.

Good times roll on for our masters. Dems get there gal, and the GOPe gets to keep us sending faux conservatives to stop Hillary. And the restaurants around K street keep raking it in.

“Kasich didn’t have and won’t have 8 states to qualify.”

The GOP is currently in Florida making up the rules. Ted flew down there to give them his opinion. I will guarantee you the rules will be changed to allow Kasich.

Principled Conservative really grates me. Ted is a pompous whatever claiming that moniker. I’m a conservative in my daily life. How principled I am comes into question. I like to have a couple of drinks and I smoke. (For shame!)

Ted comes off as a preacher that would chastize me for living my life. His speech cadence and love of Glenn Beck are just creepy. Put it this way, I would not want someone like that as my next door neighbor. I just want to live my life freely as I choose without the next door neighbor giving me the side eye.

Ted gives me the creeps that way. When you’ve lost me, you’ve lost the base that would consider Cruz.

When Trump gets 1237 Cruz will be eliminated. There will be a contested convention.

Ted Cruz has zero chance to win the GOP nomination.

Apparently, he doesn’t get that in the highly unlikely event he won every last delegate between now and June, he would net only 674 of them.

He needs 683 to clinch the GOP nomination, a mathematical impossibility.

About John Kasich? Don’t ask.

System is rigged. Trump gets 60% of vote but gets 95% of delegates!

Hey, it was winner take all.

Above 50%. If Trump had gotten below 50% last night, Cruz would have gotten some delegates out of NY.

Rigged, indeed.

Hey, Rubio has more delegates than Kasich. Remember the song Johnny One Note—We should have “Johnny One State”.

The more Cruz keeps this up the more support he will lose. I believe that this guy is so narcissistic that he fully intends on destroying eveything and everyone around him.

Doesnt give a rast ass in hell about anyone but himself.
