Hey, hate to break it to ya, but Trump will have to debate someone in the general if he is nominated.

What better way to practice than head to head against the national debate champion from when they were in college?

The debates before were full of people, and were quite scattered. A small, one on one debate would be a solid place for Trump to explain his policies and win over Cruz supporters whom have ZERO belief he is being consistent in what he believes and espouses.

Its a great opportunity for him, why would he want to back out and refuse?

You should ask for a private meeting on Trump’s 757 and share your plan.
