People have taken to social media to express disgust and outrage over Target’s decision to allow transgender people to use any bathroom or fitting room.
The hashtag #BoycottTarget has dominated Facebook’s top ten trends for three days in a row. Almost 500,000 people have signed the American Family Association’s (AFA) petition to boycott the company.
“We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity,” the company said in a statement. “Everyone deserves to feel like they belong. And you’ll always be accepted, respected and welcomed at Target.”

The lie was spread that diversity is good and we need it, so now we have to have all diverse cultures and beliefs accepted into our lives, no matter how deviant to make us ‘better’.

Finally, Target’s official policy is to no allow CC in its stores.

We are fed up of liberals and perverts subverting the system to force us to accept their UNacceptable immorality! There needs to be a front on battle and we the people just need to stand up and say Hell, No we won’t be subjected to these hideous acts of perversion. If they need to go to the bathroom put the blue ports potties out in the parking lot and point them out there....

I think this outrage movement walked right into a trap, called the “just how are you going to police this” trap.
What Target said probably went above and beyond as far as rhetoric was concerned — but as far as what was actually happening, probably didn’t change a thing.
I think people are madder over Target not pretending to need or want or have that virtue — than over Target not actually needing or wanting or having it.
And this is sad, because it points up a word that begins with h and ends with y as being of highest importance among us.
As if a scene like this would happen in the usual way people use public restrooms and the way these restrooms are laid out? “She” (he) would be sitting to go.
I think people are getting more outraged over image than over reality.
Sure it was a stupid move for Target. But also did anything change practically in bathroom use?

What wonderful hospitality exhibited by Target. However, their misplaced "hospitality" stands to allow people with seriously disordered minds to use the restroom of their choice, regardless of their biological sex.
Gender confusion is a treatable mental disorder.
So people confused about which bathroom to use are to be accepted, even though Target does not know what else they may be confused about.
Is that safe for the majority of their customers? Is that really safe for the confused person?
FINALLY! Conservatives actually using their economic power to fight back! Two things: (1) keep it going; this isn’t just for a day or a week; and (2) extend it to other corporations (Campbell’s Soup, General Mills) who’ve thumbed their noses at conservative values.
How stupid can leaders of this business be, outraging 50% of consumers by caving to the .001% bullies who suffer from the mental illness of thinking they are members of the opposite sex. Whoever is running Target must be the most incompetent CEO in the country and should be fired.
In order to enforce, a store would have to confirm the biological gender of each person that walks into a restroom. In order to check gender, store employees would have to strip search each person before the walk in to the restroom.
My guess is that most people would refuse such a search.
However, Target's policy should be, “Hey, we really have no control over who walks into our restrooms. We believe that their is a high possibility that over the last 50 years, transsexuals and transvestites have used our women's restrooms and there have been no major problems.”
Target should have listened to you.
They know that they could never enforce a policy that mandates people only use the restroom that matches the gender they were at birth.
