Rush coined the word ‘Trumpist.’ Too cute by half. Rush’s best days are behind him.

“I had to turn Limbaugh off he spends half of every day “explaining”why it’s perfectly ok to steal Trump’s delegates and we are all just so tragically dumb and don’t understand?”

The same with Levine, ‘lecturing’ about how how it all works and why it's OK to essentially ignore the voters. I heard him say ‘the popular vote of the people doesn't decide whose going to be candidate, that's not the way it works’.

Well, I'll take his word for it that the party has set rules that allows an oligarchy of party officials and party activists to decide who gets to run, but in a two-party system such as ours this constitutes circumventing representative government - plain and simple.

I think of the general election for President somewhat like a menu that you are ordering dinner from. Traditionally, our American presidential election menu has only two entrees to choose from, the Democrat entree or the Republican entree. If you're a Republican and don't like the Republican entree, your only choice is to either not order dinner (don't vote), or order the entree you don't actually like. The same is true for Democrat voters. Thus, our only chance to influence what's on the menu, and to ensure having an entree on the final menu that we actually like, is during the process in which the final menu entrees are chosen - the primaries.

If during the primary process the majority of the Republican voters say they want pizza as the Republican final menu entree choice, and the majority of the Democrat voters say they want cheeseburgers, how representative of the voter is it if the party officials and activists decide that the final menu will be a choice between fried liver or chow mien? How is this representative government?

Levine can rant about how ‘this is the process, and if you want to influence it you have to be active in the party and do the work within the scope of the rules that are set up’, but this just doesn't cut it, and is tragically not much different than telling the average USSR citizen that ‘if you want to change things, work through the Politburo’.

so dont shoot the messenger! and shame on the candidate who PRETENDS he doesnt know how the POLITICAL game is played.

yes, the rules suck - elect people who will change them. but dont get caught up in the cult of making changes outside of the law. that only brings anarchy.

A couple of my problems with Cruz; Why are Cruz' records sealed? What is he hiding? Have we learned nothing from foreign borns with sealed records?

https://www.google.com/#q=why+are+cruz+records+sealed

And by the way, Seniors, did you know the GOPe, Cruz, wants to cut your Social Security? Donald does not

Rush is an establishment stooge, GOPe to the core. Did you know that great conservative Rush did not even vote for Reagan?

Is Rush still allowed on FR? I thought it was agreed upon that his anti-Trump crap disqualified him from FR.

Why are we giving him attention?

Cruz does tend to lecture down at everyone. He is also getting desperate as shown by his boneheaded boasts about how he and the other loser are teaming up - they both bring losing to the table. He talks a whole lot smarter than he acts.

Shame on you for thinking it’s just the rules when a Cruz delegate is selected to act as a Trump delegate by the GOPe. Stop drinking Rush Limbaugh Kool Aid and learn to think for yourself. Even Limbaugh admitted that on the last election the convention refused to seat “Romney” delegates who they suspected of secretly supporting Ron Paul.

don’t like the games? gotta change the game players, and that means Rule of Law.

Like it or not, the RNC does not answer to you and can make any rules they want till the rules are changed. Cruz tried to make congress stand up for the people by using the power that we DO have - the purse! and what happened? how many stood with him?

I do think for myself and you obviously don’t listen to Rush for more than the 10 minutes it takes you to find a sound bite that you can use for your own purposes.

He has spent last week talking about the primaries and how the rules (or carnage) work. what we DONT need is another ‘personality’ that claims he’s the one we’ve been waiting for.

more executive orders is not the solution.

Yeah, but wah! He doesn’t support Trump in lock-step, or should I say goose-step, with the other comrades! Peoplpe need to get over themselves and quit the hero-worship of Trump. It is very unbecoming.

give us a break with the "comrade" BS. Save it for Hitlary,. While you're at it, come out of the Cruz fog...join us and we'll save our land together. Ted has been eliminated period...

Why are you bashing Rush? Rush has done million times more to the conservative principles than you or you guy have ever done.

Perhaps because Rush seems determined to undo it all?

I’ll vote Trump if it comes down to it. Do t have a Yuge problem with that.
I do have a problem with many many many of his supporters here at FR who defy the man. And hence, display very leftist tendencies.
