On Monday afternoon, KERA News' Krys Boyd sat down with Sen. John Cornyn in the Hart Senate Office Building to talk about new legislation he’s sponsoring, Donald Trump — and Ted Cruz, his Texas colleague in the Senate who's running for president.

Here’s an excerpt from their conversation. Read the full story at KERA News.

KERA is a PBS TV outlet. Cornyn is a Dem in RINO clothing who detests Cruz because he wouldn’t suck up to him, the senior Senator from TX. Cornyn has seemed to have voted more often with the Dems than not.

There is no trail of Cruz even be particularly religious, until he picked Texas to land in ...

Ted Cruz was 4 y/o when his folks moved to Texas. You really think he had his career path all planned out at that age?

John Cornyn is no damned good. He is MR. ESTABLISHMENT. He funded the defeat of McDaniel in Mississippi.

Lyin' Ted, as an executive in the NRSC, also gave $250,000 to NRSC at McConnell's request, to help in the Mississippi voter fraud.

Cronyn is a worthless piece of

That might be true, but he is right about Cruz. Sen. Ted Cruz has been to Iowa four times in his tenure, the Rio Grande Valley of Texas once Note this was written in March of 2014.

No doubt about it - he decided to shoot for the WH many years ago and has been building the resume to fit ever since. Now that Trump came along and ruined his plans, he can’t let it go and will be the undoing of us.

Hey! It just so happens that he considers Iowa to be intellectually, economically, aesthetically and spiritually stimulating compared to a small, drab place like Texas. The fact that Iowa also has an easily manipulated and highly visible first-in-the-nation caucus as well as a bargain priced, turn-key evangelical political machine had nothing to do with it.

I did not know that Cruz helped fund the defeat of McDaniels!!! OMG!! They used funds given by Republican Donors to defeat the wiiner of the Primary by calling on Blacks, who had voted in the Democrat primary to cross over and vote in the Republican Runoff to defeat a real conservative !! They are rumored to have paid thousands $15 bus money to go vote, They paid for calling centers to call Black Democrats lying that McDaniels was a “racists”. Over 6000 democrats who had voted in the Democratic Primary crossed over!! Leading this madness was Haley Barbour, Mitch McConnell, and John Cornyn . Cornyn directly authorized the expenditure from the NRSC !! They thought that we would just gorgive and forget. Well get this!! GO TRUMP!!

Texas tried like hell to primary Cornyn last election. Dwain Stoval finished the race only needing 12% of voters to switch to beat Cornyn. An unknown with almost no money got 39% of the vote.
