Trump Sweeps Acela Tuesday
Bos Herald/Howiecarrshow.com ^ | 4/27/16 | Howie Carr

So much for the “evolving” Donald Trump – the real thing was back on display last evening at Trump Tower.

“I wanna thank the media,” he said. “The media has covered me very fairly – the last two hours!”

After last night, you can now refer to Lyin’ Ted Cruz as Dyin’ Ted. If AMC made a series about him, it would be called “The Walking Ted.”

The Texas senator’s motto is TrusTed, but last night Cruz was dominaTed in Pennsylvania, humiliaTed in Rhode Island, toasTed in Connecticut, decimaTed in Delaware and just plain defeaTed in Maryland.

Overall, the pride of Calgary was wasTed, frustraTed and checkmaTed by Trump and his Republican voters, who rejecTed the demands of Cruz’ haTed RINO masters that they fall in line behind the GOPe standard bearer from Alberta.

When it comes to Cruz, the electorate yesterday was totally uninteresTed. Which left Cruz’ base of holy rollers and snake-chuckers quite dejecTed, the usual reaction when one’s candidate has been castraTed, with his delegate haul for the evening pathetically stunTed.

If you hear Glenn Beck reduced to speaking in tongues this morning on the radio, you’ll know the reality is finally setting in, that the Rapture Cruz’ true believers have been dreaming of for so long is just not in the cards for Pastor Ted this summer in Cleveland.

If Rafael Eduardo Cruz Jr. loses Indiana next week, he is totally eliminaTed.

You’d have thought Cruz could have mounTed at least a bit of a fight, but the problem is, these were primaries, not caucuses. The Cruz hashtag #NeverTrump is now #NeverVoters.

And now it looks like Trump has reined in his consultant Paul Manafort after his remarks to the Republican National Committee last week in Florida about his candidate’s “evolution” and “playing a role.” Trump obviously decided that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and the old Trump has been back on display since Waterbury CT on Saturday and Warwick RI on Monday.

How much do you want to bet The Donald is back on the network talk shows Sunday morning?

Unlike Ted Cruz, Trump at least has a fighting chance against Hillary Clinton and the gimme coalition that has become the Democrat party. Granted, it’s tough running against Santa Claus. But even though she’s promising to give away even more free stuff than the Easter Bunny, Hillary Clinton’s not nearly as likable. Like Macbeth, those she commands move only in command, nothing in love.

Her supporters know what she’s talking about when she denounces “barriers” – she means the indignity of actually having to work, as opposed to holding down a “job.” When Hillary says “good job” she means “no-show job.” She cackles, she nags, she screeches about Republicans who would “pit Americans against one another,” and then hisses out a stream of spiteful invective against that half of the nation that actually tries to support itself by hard work rather than by a handout from the government.

“I’m not a hateful person,” Trump said last night at his press conference. “I love people.”

Which Hillary obviously doesn’t.

But that one-on-one between Hillary and Trump is not quite here yet. This morning, someone has opened a bloaTed lead in the race for the Republican nomination, but the plot isn’t unfolding quite the way Sen. Cruz scripTed it. What’s happened so far in 2016 is, you might say, totally unprecedenTed.

Six huge wins in a row is bound to have a dramatic impact on the Indiana primary next week. I suspect Trump will win IN quite handily. The bandwagon effect will kick in, and Trump will win all the remaining primaries, humiliating Cruz in state after state, just like he’s done the last six primaries.

Clever article by Howie Carr. Thanks for posting. No mention of Ted’s water boy-weakling, tag-team GOPe partner Kasich.

I can’t wait for the main event when Trump steps into the ring with the totalitarian, Hillaryous Rotten Criminal, who wants us all subjugaTed.

C’mon November

Is it politically incorrect to suggest those still supporting him are retarTED or do they just have ‘special needs’...

Funny because there’s some truth in it.
