Read this part. It's awesome:

We will no longer surrender this country, or its people, to the false song of globalism. The nation-state remains the true foundation for happiness and harmony. I am skeptical of international unions that tie us up and bring America down, and will never enter America into any agreement that reduces our ability to control our own affairs.

It is absolutely Reaganesque, clear, strong, forceful.

The people criticizing it are upset because they disagree with it....not because it is illogical or undoable.

I WANT America first.

Excellent - thanks for posting. I thought I was going to get through the whole thing without a “great” but I counted 2 before the end - may have missed 1 or 2 others.

GREAT!!

“Against the insidious wiles of foreign influences...the jealousy of a free people ought to be consistently awake; since history and the experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government.” George Washington.

It is outstanding.

Come back to it.

It is the most logical foreign policy I have ever read.

It is on the side of the angels...and I’m serious.

I thought of Washington and of ‘no foreign entanglements’ as I read this speech.

Trump would have fit in with those Founders on this subject. Truly.

Remarkable isnt it? Yet the globalists insist that they all admire and are for what our founders intended.

Decievers are like that.

I really want to see Mark Levin explain this since he claims to be an expert on the founding fathers.

Furthermore, Trumps idea to use tarrifs as means to make regular foriegn commerce are exacty in line with the founders.

Levin is a mystery to me. I never listened because of no access, but he seemed like a warrior for liberty. Instead, he curled up into protectionism of his own little bit of turf.

...We desire to live peacefully and in friendship with Russia and China. We have serious differences with these two nations, and must regard them with open eyes. But we are not bound to be adversaries. We should seek common ground based on shared interests. Russia, for instance, has also seen the horror of Islamic terrorism.

Let every bearded dirty-nightshirt-wearing moslem 'cleric' take notice. Your days of spouting salafist filth and radicalizing the youth whose parents are guests in Western countries...are almost over.

I got to hear a little of it on the radio. I liked what I heard.

Trump will hit them. He will hit them hard. He will leave.

If they bother the US again. He will hit them again. Eventually, they’ll find a leader who doesn’t want to die.

Read it. It is so rational, logical, common sense.

I have a book- The Quotable Founding Fathers-by Buckner F Milton Jr.

It is a book of quotes by the founders outside, mostly, of the arena of the capitol. Letters to each other etc.

It gives us an insight of what they really felt towards issue related.

To a man, outside of maybe Hammilton, they all were America first. Hamilton was a worm.

The Founders are worthy of our study. They were just men, but they still strike me as men who were trying their level best to do the right thing.

Nazi lover!

Just kidding.

That is what the left is saying about “America First” however.

I’d say they were isolationists back then NOT Nazi lovers however.
