Awash in Mexican heroin
Albuquerque Journal ^ | 24 April 2016 | Mike Gallagher

When federal officials talk about a flood of heroin entering the country, they are not exaggerating.

In recent years the amount of heroin produced in Mexico has more than doubled – from less than 60 tons to more than 140 tons last year. It’s cheap. It’s plentiful. And all of it is destined for buyers in the United States. [snip]New Mexico, as a border state, is a transit state for all drugs coming north from Mexico, whether the drugs are smuggled into California, Arizona or through the ports of entry in southern New Mexico or El Paso.

Fed officials say heroin coming in big from Mexico?

That’s racist! That’s bigoted! These Fed officials must be Trump supporters - maybe they even want America to be great again - who knows?

Nothing but rainbows and unicorns come here from south of (what used to be) the border!

Yet Mexico wants to improve it’s image here in the USA.

Do you have any idea the consequences of that?

I have a nephew who is better off in prison because of his addiction to heroin.

Bad problem including aids from dirty needles a stone throw from here

Here is the pattern. ( Kentucy outlawed to “Pain Clinics”. So they open north of the Ohio River
• Patients that have injuries or pain due to over use of back go to DR. Who send them to a pain clinic or who prescribe pain “medication” paid for by insurance
• Patient becomes addicted to perscription drug. The drug to remedy the addiction is too expensive , not covered by insurance or both
• patient buys heroine at $10 a pop to satisfy addiction or self medicate pain
The cycle needs to be broken. Why not at the beginning with the pain perscription ?

Was it George, or are you asking me?

I figured it was someone who was alive and doing comedy in the '80s.

I know what you meant to say regarding musicians i.e. Rappers and the Hip Hop garbage. However this is an enormous problem that need not made fun of. It is not a humorous problem.

Not only politicians, but the monies flowing into healthcare and law enforcement by this self imposed by the elite CRISIS is a sure moneymaker for everyone. Between the graft the increased budgets this is a terrific way of again parting taxpayers from their monies. Not to mention what it does to the fiber of the country.

Asian heroin makes for good movies, but the vast majority of the heroin used in the U.S. comes from Mexico and now Columbia.

I think the Islamic heroin should be thought of as being chemical weapons of mass destruction as should the Mexican traffic. However, it’s the Islamic trafficking into the west that is a part of their jihad.

You’re not ruling out the stuff coming from the Middle East, right? You’re saying that it’s the Mexican and Columbian connections that are dominant, right? If so, what estimate would you give as to how much of the total is traffic coming from the Middle East, especially from regions where there is Islamic jihad and fatwa against the “Great Satan” (us)?

After having read about the Bush (Clinton played his part) cocaine $$, I actually wanted to apologize to Maxine Waters. She was right. We laughed at her claiming the CIA was drugging the kids in her community. It was a ridiculous blaming charge. And yet it was correct.

Mexico cartels know pot will soon be legal in a lot of places here. So they switch to heroin already. And yes, it is true, there is PUSHING. There is such a thing as flooding cities with drugs, and weak, disenfranchised kids of all kinds will give it a go. Education would be easier if there was enough time, which might be possible after the wall.
