I’ve been to Mexico many times-with my 1st husband when the company he worked for had engineering jobs there-and there always seemed to be plastic bags caught on every bit of brush, beer and soft drink cans/bottles along the roads leading out of El Paso and Juarez-enough to start your own recycling business, and no people picking up that or any other trash, like we have here...

It is-and has been for years-all about cheaper labor on the part of many large companies, and the money that gets sent home on the other side-and there is also the narco mafia that makes stronger, cheaper meth than even the back-of-the-ranch-shed cookers that get busted or blown up sometimes out here. I watch a couple of the Breaking Bad type novelas some evenings on Telemundo-nearly half of the actors are Americans of Hispanic ancestry who speak Spanish as a second language, like a lot of us do-and the children of Cuban immigrants, etc-and Telemundo’s main studios are in the Miami area-talk about not hiring your own people in your own place...

What almost bothers me more is the Chinese who are putting up wealthy,pregnant Chinese women in hotels so the baby is born here and is,therefore,a U.S. citizen.Then back to China they go.

Yes that is how it should be, the citizenship should be that of the parents at birth if the parents are not citizens and their children are born here. Otherwise a person needs to go through the immigration process to be naturalized.
