Exactly and for him to say he wouldn’t be in the State after the results were announced would signal to whatever supporters he has that he knows he will lose.
How often have we seen candidates claim they are in to the end and have strong support which will carry them to ultimate victory, only to see them drop out 2 days later?

Saw Trump last nite call out Fox for fake figures.
I saw Karl Kameron, “Campaign” Carl, on Fox News saying there were about 1500 people at the South Bend rally.
There were 2,000 inside (fire marshall said that was the safe limit for inside) and the spill over was estimated to be 6-8,000. By Trump
Cavuto said he thinks it was more like 12,000
Fox continues to treat their viewers like they are stupid and will believe what every anti-Trump news people say.
No wonder Fox viewers have gone to CNN and even MSNBC for the real facts—well more than Fox anyway.
Trump is rockin’ it big time, and seems to know everything that goes on everywhere concerning comments and lies about his campaign.
