Anyone even slightly familiar with Glenn Beck, even his fans, have come to expect odd and embarrassing behavior on almost a daily basis from the Talk Host, but the past two weeks have been almost unbelievable unless you actually see it with your own eyes.
Racism would have to be a factor.
I had not considered that but you are correct. I have seen people do that for lesser reasons.
I believe when Cruz chose to hang around with Beck and embrace his endorsement, that did grave harm to his campaign (along with several other major blunders, like Cruz letting his true self out more and more as the primary season progressed).

Mormons are polytheists.
Christians are defined by one God only and ever eternally, whose name is invoked by calling out the name of Jesus.
The Mormon Jesus is but one god amongst many others, who are gods of different planets and to them Jesus a created being.
They also believe that Jesus and Satan are actually brothers.
They don’t accept the bible as the final authority, only insofar as it is translated correctly. And that translation of doctrine from their bible and its meanings are WAY different than Roman, Orthodox or Protestant Fundamentalist Christians believe anywhere.
They don’t believe Jesus was CRUCIFIED... as that means stretched out on a CROSS... instead they teach that Jesus was staked on a post.
A different Jesus. A different Bible. A different Gospel.
Not the same. They CALL themselves christian... but they preach another Jesus.
They believe that God had relations with Mary to produce the Christ child.

Your statement that Mormons are Christians is in error. Mormons believe that we all evolve into gods. They believe that the Creator Yahweh evolved into God and that Jesus/Yahshua evolved from a man into God. Little looney but definitely not Christian.
