SARAH PALIN Announces She Will Work to Defeat Paul Ryan in Primary

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin announced on Sunday she will work to defeat Paul Ryan in his Republican primary.

This came after Ryan would not endorse the Republican nominee Donald Trump for president. On Thursday Republican Speaker Paul Ryan told Jake Tapper on CNN he was “not ready” to endorse Donald Trump yet.

Donald Trump won the GOP nomination on Tuesday after his landslide victory in Indiana.

Palin told Jake Tapper she believes Ryan will soon be “Cantored.”

CNN reported:

Sarah Palin will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan by backing his primary opponent in Wisconsin, the former Alaska governor told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Palin said in an interview that airs Sunday on “State of the Union” that her decision was sparked by Ryan’s bombshell announcement to Tapper last week that he wasn’t yet ready to support Donald Trump, the Republican presumptive nominee. Palin endorsed Trump back in January.

“I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored,’ as in Eric Cantor,” Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary.

“His political career is over but for a miracle because he has so disrespected the will of the people, and as the leader of the GOP, the convention, certainly he is to remain neutral, and for him to already come out and say who he will not support is not a wise decision of his,” Palin continued.

It will be interesting to see who the Cruz supporters will endorse in this race.

After John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his running mate her first stop was in WI. The crowd that showed up was huge and enthusiastic.

Eight years (or so) later, Sarah Palin came to WI to campaign for Donald Trump. She "played" to half filled auditoriums. There was little excitement left for her in WI. And for those who think Mr. Trump should "rally" for Mr Nehlen, think again. Mr. Cruz won WI because Mr Trump is not liked there. Mr Trump backing Mr Neheln could very well be the kiss of death for his campaign.

“Good that someone as powerful as Palin is willing to step up and start to take scalps in the state battles while trump, focuses on getting nominated and amassing troops for the general election war to come”

Agreed, but Trump can, behind the scenes, fund Nehlen and get people like Palin to go to his district and campaign against him. Sinking this turd will go a long way to getting the GOP under Trump’s control, where it needs to be. I just imagine that Scrotum Neck McConnell is somewhere quitely crapping himself.

Ryan thinks he is the indispensable man in Washington to save the Republican Party and the country. I don’t know how he got all swollen up on himself, maybe from reading his own newspaper clippings. Come August reality may smack the living crap out of him with a primary loss.

Don’t fret I’m not a Palin fan either but am behind Trump. To me she has been an opportunist for brand “Sarah.” Trump is best in his own element and that is Trump.

Ryan worked for Oscar Meyer at one time and got to drive the Weinermobile once.

Trump has been a friend of hers for a long time, he clearly respects her.

Why you would think she’s just being an opportunist by coming out and supporting him early, way early, when no one could be certain of the outcome is a silly, and ugly, thing to say.

That was before the delegate manipulation vs actual primary voting results became a storyline. Cruz crashed because people want their vote to count. That was his breaking point, the final straw for honest voters regardless of nearly all other beliefs! It was end of story for Cruz. Cruz was trumped by TRUMP! If WI primary today, if it's primary were tomorrow, Trump would win by a landslide!

.
Thank you, Jarhead.

I AM a fan of Sarah's. I've always loved Sarah, but I feel she has been so discredited by the evil Libs to the point that I'm not sure how much help she is to Donald.

That's all I was saying, and I didn't expect to get so flamed for it. I expect many FReepers, deep down, feel much the same.

Do they even recall the horrible things the Libs did to her?

She was made fun of on SNL and most of the slimy media until it was shameful.

Most stupid Americans believed all the dirt thrown at her, and I fear many still do. .
