Poll should ask “Would you like someone of the opposite gender walking in on you in a public restroom?”
The people of charlotte should vote out the scum that created such a law and elect people would promise to repeal it

We need to get rid of existing bad laws
Any level of the government shouldn’t be able tell a business who can go in their bathrooms or not. If a business wants to make that decision, like Target or Trump, it seems like the market will take care of that or not. I sort of doubt women care enough about it to hurt them because of it, but we shall see in a few months I suppose.
As far as publically owned restrooms and other sex-exclusive areas, what can you say if the voters want to tolerate this insanity? It’s not that hard to see what party is 100% for men using the women’s facilities.

Not me. For the numbers they’re claiming it has to be the way they’re framing the question. I seriously doubt the accuracy of this poll.

The real question should be...
“Are you ok with men in the bath, dressing, locker rooms and showers?”
That’s going to be the actual outcome of trans protection laws.

North Carolina I’m quite sure that they provide bathrooms which are for transgender And those bathrooms can be used, as far as I know by anyone, depending on how they identify. If this question does not appear in the poll the poll is 100% bogus.

Yes if other entities pass laws or regulations that impose rules on you that you don’t like.
You have to open not just bathrooms, but showers, dressing rooms etc. to all sexes. You’re forcing others to expose themselves or to be exposed to others that you may not want to under penalty of law.
I’m OK with it ... because it will force the issue.
Bring it on men. Go in the women’s restrooms. I so much want this to happen. I never wish I were a man but in this instance I do ... I would be making a protest by going in women’s restrooms all over the place.
That’s exactly what the NC state legislature did. It got rid of a bad law in Charlotte which also prevented other liberal bastions from doing the same thing. Why you have a problem with it, after saying you want to get rid of bad laws, remains a mystery.
The poll sampled 1001 people. Of those sampled, 31% described themselves as Democrats, 26% described themselves as Republicans, and 43% described themselves as independents. It claims a sampling error of +- 3%. While it claims to be representative by region of country, there are no details provided as to the number interviewed by region and whether or not those sampled were rural or urban dwellers.
One of the most interesting statistics is 14% of those sampled claimed to have a family member or close friend who is transgender. This is surprising given other surveys which show the number of transgender people in the country is 0.2 to 0.3 percent of the total.
