Nice to know that I was right that Cruz’s fiscal support was really Hillery’s supporters trying to stop Trump.

After ten months, can you tell me who you are informing with those brilliant posts regurgitating things we have already dealt with hundreds if not thousands of times?

All you are doing is posting negative post after negative post about Trump.

None of it has cause folks to break with him, but here you are rehashing it over and over on one single thread.

Are you that negative in life, or are we just privileged to watch you unwind here?

Haha, panties are only in a wad because it’s perfectly acceptable, and good business even, for Trump to donate to both dems and repubs, but other people make similar decisions with their own money and they are evil, horrible people. Trump is a cheapskate for only donating 1.5 million and this guy is evil for donating 13 million. There are plenty of people who thought that Cruz could defeat Hillary in the general but Trump couldn’t; this guy is maybe one of those people and is doing what he thinks is going to help his business. The same as Trump donating to whoever he thought he needed to for his business to be successful.

Untrue. I just made some people unhappy in the forum and the state board when I refuted that Trump said he was going to raise the minimum wage. And also refuted that he said he was going to self-fund the general.

Okay, then you have been mixing in some supportive comments too.

Do you think I support Trump donating to Hillary? I’m not happy about it. I can see why he did it, but I’m not happy about it.

I also take note that he is ending her political career right now. That’s something nobody else was able to to up until now.

I support him doing what he is doing to the GOPe/RNC and Hillary Clinton. I am glad he has outed people on all sides of the isle, so we know where we stand, who our enemies are.

For that reason I don’t bring up things that are counter-productive.

Do I see things from time to time that I don’t like? Sure I do.

I still believe he’s the best man for the situation we find ourselves in.

We need to emphasize the positive. We all know what the up and downsides with him are. Nobody here is naive.

I Do NOT want Hillary or Bernie, or any more liberals running our country.

By your reckoning, we should only express supportive thoughts for our presumed party candidate, for the sake of getting our guy in office.
Ergo, there’s no place here for inconvenient facts in order to become more informed, no matter that this forum is called: “Free Republic”.
Lets ignore the fact that criticism from an informed political base sometimes affects desired change via raised expectations.

Here’s a Safe Space idea:
Any time we post real rational well founded criticism of candidate Trump or any other favored politician, we put a disclaimer warrning in the title or keyword that the post thread: MUSS (May upset sensitive supporters).

And likewise, “terrific” candidate news posts can be labeled: ++good (double plus good, ie: 1984 Ministry of Truth)

God help us -
Really.

RE: “None the less here you are still trying to list all the bad things Trump has done.

You profess to be just too good a Conservative to be comfortable with Trump, but think you are a better Conservative if you can damage him at this point, so Hillary can win.”

Oh they get it.
The remaining Cruz folks are globalists, and they will take in any amount of Muslims to get their North American Union.

They didn’t hang on to Canadian Ted in spite of Heidi. They hung onto him BECAUSE of Heidi.

Children...

Those are the only folks who can’t grasp that Trump is better than Hillary.

These comments about Trump are not productive. They are aimed at tarnishing his image or destroying support for him.

Who do you think you are kidding?

Your spin is shockingly transparent. You want license to trash Trump non-stop right up until the November election.

With people like you, who needs Hillary supporters?

You folks on this forum will try to get away with trashing Trump non-stop, and claim it’s just because you are a first class Conservative.

First class Conservatives don’t front for Hillary on Conservative forums.

No, they’re good solid Conservatives.

Good solid Conservatives always trash the nominee non-stop so the Democrat can win. You didn’t know that?

I look at the list of things Trump has said he will do, and know damn well what Hillary will.

They still think Trump needs to be beaten to a pulp, just because the first amendment guarantees their right to help Hillary here.

Nope!

I agreed with your point, but for arguments sake...

"Jews provided at least half the money donated to the DNC"

I suspect you mean Cultural Jews, since most of them are probably atheists who would have no problem with Israel being returned to the Arabs.

I understand and I agree, mostly, but I think the worship we see of Trump by some people here is highly disturbing and slightly dangerous, for the same reasons the worship of Obama by the left was/is disturbing and dangerous. If it seems like I am negative on Trump, it is only because I appreciate a more level-headed approach. And I think many supporters, either side, just won’t see that their guy has some flaws. You cannot effectively persuade someone if you cannot admit the flaws are there and discuss in a sane way why they are less important flaws than the other guy has.

I voted for Cruz in the primary, but I maybe made one pro-Cruz comment in all this time, I honestly cannot remember except I think I maybe answered the question once or twice of who I was going to vote for. I had/have no interest in the Cruz/Trump flame wars. I really just like having the whole truth discussed and often it is not. When I commented on the Trump minimum wage and election funding thing there were more than a couple Trump supporters that were trying to explain away why Trump had changed his mind on those two issues. He hadn’t changed his mind! The commenters had NO clue that Trump said he was going to self fund only the primary via loan that would be paid back to him. This hero worship, he can do no wrong approach is dangerous. It convinces no one. Neither does the name calling. Have a sensible discussion, even if you must do it a million times. You may not convince that person, but someone else is reading and absorbing.

Figures.

Shiite talking self righteous true blues that switch over to the personification of all that is wrong with the country, because their true blue did not garner enough support to make a splash amongst the voting public.

Pathetic on the face of it, and tragic deeper down.

You might want to tell that to the rest of the Cruzlims who so often conflate their choice with the Forces of Righteousness, amen.

It is done by Trump supporters as well. I find it kind of odd that Trump supporters don’t see other Trump supporters do it, and Cruz supporters don’t see other Cruz supporters do it.

I’ve criticized the zealots in both camps. Easy to do since Cruz had been my first choice before switching to Trump.

When Cruz is out, his biggest donors run to the Hildabeast. Very telling.... “
