Dozens of Methodist clergy members took a stand for equality on Monday in the hope that their church will re-evaluate discriminatory policies toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals during its 2016 General Conference, which begins on Tuesday.
More than 100 pastors, deacons, elders and candidates for ministry in the United Methodist Church released a letter publicly coming out as LGBT just one day before the church’s top policy-making body convenes in Portand to consider roughly 1,000 legislative petitions.

Why don’t they form an LGBT church?
That way they could have orgies and stuff instead of pretending to worship God.
I’m not surprised that some were not totally “out”, or that some LBG then said “oh, and I’m trans”.
Is that to say they’ve announced they suck?

Perhaps the clergy who came “out” may find themselves returning to a more empty church. Is there a list of the newly out clergy?
Seems like this is more about gay rights than the gospel, and more about politics than God.

I did, after it was disclosed that the the older male senior pastor was screwing the young female associate pastor. I guess he gets partial credit for being straight, at least.
These are sick and demented people in need of shock treatments and psychotropic drugs. The devil infects the institutional professional “church” and there they are.
