BBC is 'too Christian' and 'could broadcast Muslim prayers' to reflect growing multi-culturalism
The Telegraph ^ | May 15, 2016 | David Barrett

The BBC’s religious output is too Christian, an internal review by the Corporation has concluded, opening the way for more programmes on other faiths.

One Muslim leader suggested the review could lead to Friday prayers from a mosque being broadcast in the same way that Christian church services currently feature in the BBC’s schedules.

The report is now being considered by Lord Hall, the director general, who could make changes to make religious output less “disproportionate”, the Sunday Times (£) reported.

Ibrahim Mogra, of the Muslim Council of Britain, said the BBC could televise Friday prayers from a mosque and extend coverage of Eid.

Perhaps they should broadcast a call to prayer 5 times a day produced by the Church of England and directed by the Archbishop of Canterbury

Is the BBC headed or governed by non-Christians?

Wen muslims come into their countries and promote islam, demand islam be promoted, that is diversity. Oppose it and you’re racist.

This is all 100% deliberate. The indigenous whites helping to do it hate christianity.

Check the schedules yourself.

There is an hour today for Pentecost on BBC One, but no Christian programming next Sunday.

But they’ll get call to prayer broadcasts everyday guaranteed.

will BBC comedians be permitted to mock Islamic services in bawdy comedy sketches as was done to Christian religious traditions for decades (and even exported to the US in the form of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Dave Allen At Large, Benny Hill, etc..)?

It is a surprise that Public Radio in the US has not picked up on this diversity program.

The response to any mocking of Islam would be a fatwa against the BBC brass, undoubtedly.

I went what is considered the most conservative seminary in the US in a Southern state and I had a big problem in theology courses when liberation theology and black liberation theology specifically were both included and taught not from a viewpoint of heresy but as legitimate orthodox forms of understanding. It was obvious that this was the case due to wanting acknowledge what different groups have added and brought to the table so to speak. However when these theologies are totally out of bounds and heterodox they should have been grouped as heresies and taught in that way. Liberation theology and it’s variants are like a cancer and they were subtly or passively condoned as a form of celebrating diversity; affirmative action for theology. I pointed this out to the professor during a large class and was met with silence. Given this was ten years ago. I was always shocked that a significant amount of both professors and students were likely sympathetic if not openly on the left and people were completely enamored with both green religion and all things international/globalist/ united nations to a fault and many had trouble when asked if they believed in borders and sovereignty for the USA. I’m sure it is only worse now.

Thus the reason they should likewise ban the promotion of Islam.
