Democratic voters want Hillary Clinton to make Bernie Sanders her running mate, according to a new poll.
Thirty-six percent say they'd like the Vermont senator to be Clinton's VP, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Tuesday found.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) ranked second at 19 percent, followed by Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro at 10 percent.
Eight percent said Sen. Corey Booker (D-N.J.), while 2 percent chose former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley. Twelve percent of Democrats prefer an unlisted candidate, while 13 percent are undecided.
Thirty-two percent of Democratic voters said it’s “very important” that their party fields a ticket consisting of only Democrats.
The poll of 1,000 likely voters was conducted via telephone interviews from May 11-12. It has a 3 percent margin of error.
Sanders is Clinton's only remaining challenger for the Democratic presidential nomination, although he's far behind in the race.
Clinton has 1,716 pledged delegates entering Tuesday, to Sanders's 1,433, according to the Associated Press.

Well from a political standpoint that will move the Democrats about as far left as they have ever been in a long time. Only McGovern in 1972 was this far left.
Bernie on the ticket would make it almost impossible for Hillary to make any move to the Center to pick up Blue Collar and Independent Votes that she would have to have.
Trump would have a field day with that ticket. The best part is that it sells Trump more easily.

McGovern would be considered a tick or two right-of-center in today’s Democrat Party.
