Vanity: Did Bill Clinton really boost the economy?
Local | May 17,2016 | From The Deer Stand

Now that Hillary said, if elected (ugh), she would appoint her husband Bill in "charge of revitalizing the economy, because you know he knows how to do it," one has to ask if Bill did indeed create a booming economy when he wasn't chasing interns. Seems to me the Republican Contract With America was enacted during Clinton's tenure, welfare reform was passed after Clinton vetoed it, and the "dot-com" explosion sent the economy soaring. So, then, what exactly did Bill Clinton do to get the economy rolling so he continues to get media credit for his role?

From what I remember he just lucked out being President when the dot com boom happened. That and plus he took credit for Reaganomics. Ask yourself this: What did he do besides get BJs and go on fundraisers? Nothing. They guy did nothing which led directly to the deaths of 3000 people on 911.

The entire Clinton Administration was a disaster and would have been a huger disaster if not for Newt

There are professional people (and good people) who seriously believe Bill Clinton was the mastermind of the .com boom.
Which then crashed as soon as a Republican got in office.

Don’t underestimate this thinking.
Trump needs a plan to address it.

Creating USA worker jobs works in the Rust Belt.
It doesn’t help as much with affluent .com workers.

The dot com boom did that.

Hillary was funny, saying Trump promised jobs but didn't say how he'd do it.

Then promising that her husband would bring jobs without saying how he'd do it.

But how many people picked up on that?

Forced prostitution of minors for politicians, lawyers,
judges, increased after Clinton. It has been
so acceptable that the criminal illegals imported
by Obama and his complicit “US” Congress
FORCE minors into prostitution.

Thank you, Mr. ImpeachedPOTUS.
Thank you, complicit Congress.

Is that legal for a President to just put their spouse in charge of something like the economy?

Democrat voters will usually buy anything thrown at them by the Clintons. But, not quite so much anymore

WJC rode the tech dot.com gravy train in the 90’s. Heck even Maduro of Venezuela would have looked like an economic genius during that time just riding the tech wave.

I’m surprised everybody has forgotten how President Bill Clinton ordered Vice President Al Gore to invent the internet, thus igniting the dot com boom.

The tech boom began its crash when Bill Clinton’s Attorney General Janet Reno declared war on the tech industry.

She held a special press conference to do so, just as she had done when she burned down Waco.

The time of year was April, unfortunately I’ve forgotten the more important date, the year.

Well, he really DID boost the Chinese and Indonesian economies (While also boosting the Clinton Economy).

But Yeah, any boost to the American economy was either merely coincidence or him being forced to do it by Gingrich, the Contract With America and the Republican majority in Congress, as many above have asserted.

Too bad it didn’t last, but since then; Since they forced Gingrich out of leadership, then out of Congress it has been the Uniparty with the majority, no matter whether the majority pretended to be Republicans or not.

In his last year in office, during March or April, the stock market went into free fall and Clinton did NOTHING to stop it.
Clinton also rejected an offer to get his hands on Osama bin Laden.

Bush then received a damaged economy, and before he could do much, 9-11 happened to damage it even more, because of Osama Bin Laden.

I recall the economy during his first two yrs as marked by fear of HillaryCare. Then Newt and GOP took control of the congress, crushed Hillary’s statist dreams and enacted the Contract With America.
