Trump claims income of over $557 million in 2015, slams Sanders in FEC filing

NEW YORK, NYDonald Trump told the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that his income for 2015 exceeded $557 million, and he says his net worth remains "in excess of 10 billion dollars."

In a press release, the GOP presumptive nominee said he had filed his personal financial disclosure (PFD) Monday and called it "the largest in the history of the FEC."

He also took the opportunity to slam Bernie Sanders for requesting "an extension for his small report" and went on to say that it showed the difference between a business man "and the all talk, no action politicians that have failed the American people for far too long."

Trump is a marketing genius - makes releasing his FEC a weapon against the communists.

The choice is clear: Capitalist victory or Socialist death.

He’s got a point. I’ll accept that Sanders is true to his economic values and has a modest and unsurprising filing. But, mygosh, if he can’t handle that on time, how the heck can he deal with the US budget?

I read that in his early years Sanders took his bride to live in a shack somewhere with dirt floors. Is this something he intends for all of us?

Here's three trillion to get you started. If that's not enough send over some "bonds" and we will print some more of the stuff in return - that budget.

Maybe Bern can put his spouse in charge of the economy?

Bernie has a net worth of over 2 million dollars, pretty good for a guy who never had a non government job.

If your I-phone is handy.....just dialup Speaker Paul Ryan who is said to be in charge of the (cough) budget.

He "might" be able to answer your question....but don't hold your breath (smirk).

"...What is this "U.S. budget" of which you speak?"

You didn't know that the U.S. Govt. has an annual operating cost that is measured against received tax income, and this is called a "budget?"

Wow. Color me numb.

Bernie’s net worth of over $2 million? Consider that he and his wife have always worked, and they’re very frugal. For a man his age who has always held jobs that pay pretty well and watched his finances, that’s not a surprising net worth. Keep in mind he must have pensions, 401Ks and Social Security....all accumulated from jobs he’s held.

The US budget of which I speak is the one that has the US almost $20 trillion in debt, because NEITHER political party has done anything to rein in spending.

Meanwhile, Mitt-Witt's net worth is pegged at 250 million.

Trump should buy that asshole lock, stock and barrel just to make him squeal and squirm.

Bernie Sanders didn't have his first job until age 40

I just checked his biography on Wikipedia (FWIW). It's not exactly true that he didn't hold a job until he was 40.

His biography is rather disturbing. He was not a run-of-the-mill protestor against the war. It would bear investigation to determine just how radicalized he was. That was his MO during and for a time after college. He did work during those after-college years, in NY then in VT. It's described as a variety of odd jobs. Enough of them are specific enough that they can be verified. It looks as if his first career-type job was mayor of Burlington at age 40. Before that, it seems he was just doing the VT partner with the earth NYC hippie dropout kind of thing.

I don't see anything in Sanders job history or accrued wealth that would be anything but counterproductive to criticize. But those radical early years....that needs lots of scrutiny.!
