Someone on airliners.net mentioned that Egyptair Flight 804 disappeared EXACTLY 804 days after Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 disappeared. Weird.

This seems to be one of the prevailing theories out there. The question I have is according to reports, air traffic control tried to contact the pilot several times before the erratic flying with no response. That is strange.

The pilot was struggling to control a structurally disabled aircraft, probably in the tail section (rudder or vertical stabilizer).

Also, I want to know why 3 air marshals were on board, and were they armed.. Was there a DIRECT terror threat to this flight which led EgyptAir to place these men aboard?

I believe the on board explosion disabled the ability of the pilot to control the aircraft. I am thinking all power on the aircraft was gone, preventing any ability to call out a Mayday. Structural damage added to the aircraft's instability as it spiraled, out of control, down from its 35,000 foot altitude.
