You're more generous than I am. How about a bag of flour, a loaf pan and a packet of yeast? I'll even throw in a short set of instructions on how to bake bread, illustrated. It takes some effort and some time to bake a loaf of bread but I'm sure if they get hungry enough they'll figure it out.
As someone who does not eat processed food-and bakes my own bread-whole grain only-it most definitely takes a bit of time and effort to make it come out right-and if nothing else works, the threat of starvation is a good motivator...
Yup, I’ve baked my own also. Takes some time and practice. If you’re on welfare, you’ve got plenty of time. A little harder than flashing your taxpayer funded EBT card at Popeye’s.
