A powerful array of the Republican Party’s largest financial backers remains deeply resistant to Donald J. Trump’s presidential candidacy, forming a wall of opposition that could make it exceedingly difficult for him to meet his goal of raising $1 billion before the November election.
Interviews and emails with more than 50 of the Republican Party’s largest donors, or their representatives, revealed a measure of contempt and distrust toward their own party’s nominee that is unheard of in modern presidential politics.
More than a dozen of the party’s most reliable individual contributors and wealthy families indicated that they would not give to or raise money for Mr. Trump. This group has contributed a combined $90 million to conservative candidates and causes in the last three federal elections, mainly to “super PACs” dedicated to electing Republican candidates.

Thanks. Heard this one ABC radio news as well, Reading the poll at the WAPO website, it seems they bent themselves into pretzels to include all sorts of caveats and other such BS to make Crooked Hillary look more acceptable. Still, it is amazing to see Mr. Trump is such a strong position at this relatively early point in the race.
If Trump needs money, he’ll raise money. No worries.
The donor class refuses to accept that this time, they’re irrelevant.
Trump’s most major talent in life seems to be having all of the right adversaries and enemies. The people lining up against him amount to a who’s who of jerks, villains, goofballs and all-time losers in the Western World.

The mean Key “GOPE” donors who like to be able to own the candidates they back.....just goes to show that trump really won’t be bought when the biggest shoppers opt to not spend anything.....

On the subject of Donald’s youthful life style, I think most are purely jealous.
How many men with the looks and money of the youthful Donald Trump would not have lived the same life style?
Not many.
This woman believes in and adores him- and I think the majority of women feel the same way- no matter what the RINOs, GOPe and MSM say.
Donald’s biggest problem, I think, is going to be with the Hispanics. They’re afraid their kin will stopped from flooding over the border. They’re afraid of being deported and all their welfare and free goodies taken away.
Haven’t seen this kind of crazed resistance since Reagan.
