Standup comics have faced legal threats and plain threats when poking fun at Hilldog in the past. What set her defensive measures off the last I heard was an act with 3 or 4 comics exclusively ripping on her. It was pretty good, lots of lesbian and pantsuit jokes as one would expect.
I happened to watch a few min of SNL last nite. Don’t usually but flipped it on. They were doing a skit mocking southern bands from the 70s (I think). It was strange and unfunny but what was clear was this was a NY values view of the south.
A lot of young people watch SNL so this was just more indoctrination.
Oh man, ignore the stupid newscast part from last night and watch the cold open. They rip Hillary a few new ones. It’s excellent.

I hope that was Che’s last night on the show. He is not funny and never has been funny. All he has is the arrogant little smile.
I love Darryl Hammond. Last night he only had one line - was standing there as Bill Clinton just to say that one little thing.

If you've been watching, it looks like they've had some serious doubts about ALL the candidates. Including Hillary who is most often portrayed sitting at a bar.
At least, he thinks he was his father.
He had 6 or so to pick from, so...
SNL only ever seemed funny to pubescent 12 year olds.
Back very early in SNL, first or second season, they did a skit where they were in a truck with a megaphone and it was “Hey show us your guns”, it was a hoot.
A shame that it has dropped to childish humor
I think the actors have to rehearse their lines but are compelled to read the cue cards since the script can change at any time.
And Hillary (like Obama) is notorious for using teleprompters. I’d say it’s part of the joke if Hillary’s impersonator is obviously reading from one.
