Lavender Graduation is all the rage in some circles these days, especially at the U. of Maryland where event sponsors at the LGBT Equity Center note that "each LGBTQA+ graduate will receive a rainbow tassel and a certificate of achievement. This event also provides an opportunity for our community to come together and honor those among us who have worked to make College Park a better place for LGBTQ+ people," according to the website.
Students and Lavender grads also receive occasional invites to a Queer Lunch from the LGBT Equity Center, which advises guests that "We'll bring the board games, the card games, the music, and the queer space."
LGBT Studies at the University of Maryland currently offers a certificate and minor in the program. Some of the courses offered include "Theories of Sexuality and Literature"; "Seminar in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Studies: Queer Theory," and "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender Community Organization Internship."
The banner on the home page of LGBT studies says "Fear the Turtle, Queer the Turtle," which refers to Testudo, the name of the diamondback terrapin that became the school’s mascot in 1932.
All this attention and accommodation, not to mention 24-7 news stories, about less than 3% of the total population...
This is going beyond the point of ridiculousness....

Sex Ed-—Gender Theory is all pure Marxism-—to reduce human beings into irrational, godless animals.....total dehumanization to destroy concepts of male/female and Mother and Father so children no longer can have the Christian Worldview/concepts (only embedded inside the Natural Family—not in group-think artificial institutions of puerile peer group think). Dependency is the only thing embedded into children—along with an artificial, controlled, irrational Reality..
Reason and Logic (Natural Law Theory—Classical Christian Education was removed by the evil Humanist John Dewey back in 1930 to destroy the Minds (critical thinking) of the next generation. We are seeing the fruits.
Remove Reason, Logic and Truth (God) and you destroy that which created the Age of Reason, Modern Science and the US Constitution. (Only the Christian Worldview gave us Free Will (choice) and Individualism—the ability to think outside the herd.
Now, we are regressing back to slavery, irrationality, arbitrary, pagan/hindu “truths” which conflict with Reality/Truth/God’s Laws (Natural Law—Common Sense.)
Too bad the heterosexuals aren’t getting special recognition for being normal.
How about special diplomas for sodomy. Then special certificates of
achievement for B&D, S&M, pedos, trannies, furries, felchers, zoos, etc.

I am afraid to imagine what the celebration will be like for other paraphiliacs. Perhaps next year will be the coming out of necrophiliacs, for example.
I love how they keep adding abbreviations.
I think A means “a$$hole”.
Maybe “asexual” - which would be a whole other class from these jackasses and shouldn’t be tied in with them at all.
The plus + I guess means every single thing NOT plain boring heterosexual, and we gave up on those damned abbreviations finally.
