Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe under federal investigation for campaign contributions

Virginia Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe is the subject of an ongoing investigation by the FBI and prosecutors from the Justice Department's public integrity unit, U.S. officials briefed on the probe say.

The investigation dates to at least last year and has focused, at least in part, on whether donations to his gubernatorial campaign violated the law, the officials said.

McAulliffe is in bed with the Clintons and has been for decades. I suspect HRC’s email server, from which her State emails and the Clinton Family Foundation emails were derived, has captured evidence of chicanery that the FBI and DOJ cannot ignore. I disagree with those freepers who insist nothing will come from the Judicial Watch lawsuit and FBI investigation of HRC; in fact, I'd bet the McAulliffe investigation stems from those investigations.

You get it. This is not for show and there is a new behind the scenes presence that is powerfully driving things in the right direction. Most everyone else has a battered wife syndrome and is pessimistic.

Conducting an investigation is step 1 to a declaration of absence of wrongdoing. There won’t just be a presumption of innocence, McCauliffe will have been scrutinized under a microscope and found to be squeaky clean.

Among the McAuliffe donations that drew the interest of the investigators was $120,000 from a Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang, through his U.S. businesses. Wang was previously delegate to China's National People's Congress, the country's ceremonial legislature.

Then why not use the Chinese solution for corruption? Take the corrupt pissant outside and put a slug through his skull; then send the happy widow the bill for the bullet.

Same with Hillary. She's received hundreds of million from raghead terrorist regimes in exchange for arms and intel. Give her the raghead treatment for traitors -- beheading with a dull rusty knife.

I was watching CNN on a TV at a place I was visiting. McAuliffe’s defense is that the donor had a Green Card, so he figured it was legal. That is prima facie evidence right there he he broke the law.

FBI says they’re particularly interested in the overlap between contributions to McAuliffe and one of the Clinton foundation entities, particularly by foreign nationals who are prohibited from making campaign contributions.

Why is that? Permanent legal residents are allowed to donate to U.S. political campaigns. (I hate to defend the loathsome McAuliffe, though.)
