Some people in the crowd at a graduation ceremony at California State University, Fullerton, shouted at the commencement speaker after she talked about presidential candidate Donald Trump and gave a brief section of her address in Spanish.
“It’s really sad,” the commencement speaker, Maria Elena Salinas, an anchor for Spanish language broadcast network Univision, said Tuesday. “And it’s a testament to what has happened in our country. Our country is really divided.”

Thanks to people like her. What the heck does she think she’s doing giving part of her address in Spanish? That is totally disrespectful to people who don’t know Spanish. Everybody should know English. Last time I checked this was the United States.

I listened to the clip. She should have stopped at I’m very proud of you, and not trashed Donald Trump. It’s like a disease with these media opponents of Trump, they have to deliver one final kick at the man who challenges them.

That headline is misleading and wrong. When I read the headline, it intimated the audience was anti Trump. But in actuality, she was told to get off the stage when she TRASHED Trump. The protesters in the audience were patriotic Americans.
English as the Official Governmental Language, she should have to speak English in a public building at a public gathering.
Unless she gets a permit.

oops..... dang American loving parents were in the audience - guess she hadn’t counted on that.
People like her refuse to acknowledge that we are unified by speaking English in this country. Unified! It brought us together. Italians, French, Germans, so many others learned English and past generations bonded through English. She wants the rules changed for selfish reasons.
Therein lies the problem. A good many Hispanics, especially the “young skulls full of mush” as Rush calls them, think of themselves as Mexican or Salvadoran first and American second. They’re the ones causing the Balkanization of this country and it has to end. We’re long overdue for a moratorium on all immigration to this country. No more student or worker visas. No more H-1B “thieves” taking American jobs and electing government officials who have the backbone in enforcing our immigration laws already on the books.

The country has been divided for years. Didn’t just happen. Democrats are using the divide to gain power, and to divide the country even more.
They are bringing bearded savages into the country to destroy Judeo-Christian values.

Hasn’t that been the goal of the Hispanic activists for a decade or more. Turmoil, dissension and violence are their primary weapons. Divide and conquer, “return California to Mexico!!”
She whines about the nation being divided...in a language that half the audience doesn’t speak. It seems to me that the first rule to prevent a divided nation is to have one language and all newcomers assimilate to that language.
