The thrill of victory, the agony of being #nevertrump
Ted Cruz can now take his Cuban ass back to Canada. And his nut job dad and Glen Beck.
Nothing on Drudge yet.
One thing.
Trump better not screw it up like Romney and McCain.
Good!
Calling Speaker Ryan......
There is no guarantee of what will transpire at the ‘con’vention. I still don’t trust the gopE regardless of their statements about unity.
Good news. Shows Trump has been doing his job behind the scenes as well.
1238 delegates? 1238 Delegates!
I fully expect the next move by the GOPe is to start qualifying delegates.
Or maybe start creating SuperDelegates. I know some think it is a little late for that, but this is a Washington based party.
Trump was put over the top in the Associated Press delegate count by a small number of the party’s unbound delegates who told the AP they would support him at the convention. Among them is Oklahoma GOP chairwoman Pam Pollard.
I will be rather reserved on this until after the 7th of June.
While I do think Trump is very close, I’m not convinced he’s over 1237 yet. I lean toward 10-20 points down still.
I have always considered the reports to be rough estimates. This is confirmed by the fact that no two reporting sites have the exact same numbers.
Article now up on Fox at:
Title: Trump reaches delegate number to clinch GOP nomination
Could you change link and title of this article?
Cruz is probably still conspiring.
I urge caution here.
CNN, always the highest, still has him at 1229 delegates at this time.
I suspect this has more to do with FoxNews and a few other outlets wanting to be first to announce this.
I’m not buying in at this point.
Bless his little heart, Cruz returns from Mexico and some
unbound delegates jump on the Trump train.
Woo hoo! Now, lets see if they try some funny business to steal it from him.
PING!
Actually it’s Faux News reading an AP story
Guess folks are finally starting to count the unbound delegates.
Looks like Managorts estimate of 1400 may be very close
