Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said Thursday that having only eight high court justices isn’t good, resulting in some 4-4 splits this year that denied litigants an opinion.

I remember her saying that to Egypt of all countries. She cited the socialistic constitution of South Africa as her preferred alternate, with a bill of rights resembling that of the USSR’s constitution (notably with no “negative liberties” and with no right to keep and bear arms).
