Trump's Decision To Debate Sanders In California Is His Most Genius Move Yet
Zerohedge ^ | May 27, 2016 | Tyler Durden

If the Trump/Sanders debate proceeds as planned in California, you’re about to witness one of the most important moments of a 2016 general election that hasn’t even begun yet. To say such a debate would be an unmitigated disaster for Hillary Clinton would be the understatement of the century. Let’s explore why.

First of all, Hillary Clinton outright rejected a debate request from Bernie Sanders ahead of the June 7th California primary. Given Sanders’ recent momentum, as well as her need to persuade a significant number of his supporters to back her in November; such a denial was not only arrogant, it was highly insulting to voters in America’s largest state. From team Clinton’s perspective there was little upside to agreeing to a debate, versus easily manageable downside from a few days of negative media coverage.

Or so they thought…

Great post.

Did you see his statement about not doing the Bern Debate?? I’m sad it’s not going to happen, but what a great way to say it. He got his point across.

“Personally, I’ve never been a big Trump fan; even before he threw his hat in the ring.”

I’ve been behind him ever since I saw him on TV give a press conference at the border last year.

I was watching with my kids and they remarked, as the hundreds of press people with cameras clicking clamored for his attention, ‘he looks like he’s already president’.

And they were right.

He did.

Though young and never have seen a real one before, they intuitively knew what a president was supposed to look like.

One who doesn't need styrofoam Greek columns as a backdrop.

that photo is nothing more than a staged photo op.

That does it. He might as well pack up and go home.

THE core political issue is the CONSTITUTION. Every political freedom flows from the structure and limitations the Constitution puts on the central government. ALL of our political woes stem from the central government’s illegal and unconstitutional activities.

He’s certainly running rings around Republican voters! He’s got them fooled, that’s for sure. I don’t know about witnessing a phenomena, unless you’re talking about the destruction of our nation, whether by Hillary, Bernie or Trump. Yeah, I guess that is a phenomena alright. Kind of like the Hindenburg!

Donald Rope-a-Doped that red diaper baby, played him like a fiddle, whatever colorful euphemism we can find.

If Sanders had turned it down, Trump would’ve just played the coward card. But Sanders accepted, eagerly & pathetically, so Trump just yanked it back with a “I was kidding, I don’t debate losers” head-slap.

Either outcome was brilliant.

“Women’s health” is left’s euphemism for abortion or a planned Parenthood. No contributions to that, please. How can women’s healthcare be left out when we have 0bamacare and Medicaid?
