Hillary Clinton’s campaign had once hoped the California primary could be a coronation for the former secretary of State, the last major stop en route to claiming the Democratic presidential nomination.

Instead, it has turned into a dogfight with Bernie Sanders, who has been campaigning nonstop through the state. With at least one public poll showing the race now a tie, the Clinton campaign has decided to step up her appearances in the state.

Has a Clinton ever lost an election in CA? Mr. Bill may have lost the primary to Brown in 1992; I’m not sure. Whoever, people in CA want the most liberal viable choice available.

The pain of the Bernieistas will be glorious when they realize, they really had no chance to win.

"...a loss in this enormous, diverse, overwhelmingly Democratic state would be an ugly stain in the lead-up to the party’s convention in July in Philadelphia."

No it wouldn't...it would show that Californians can really tell right from wrong....bad from worse in this case.

The fact hildabeast went to Cali is proof that vote stealing will be epidemic. I can only hope that the Bernadettes can document it!

Apparently the in house polling is as bad or worse than the public polls based on the reaction of the Clinton campaign. If Hillary can’t dominate Sanders in Kalifornia, her electability will take a major hit.

Sanders has produced a remarkable come from behind in the state that demonstrates how poor a candidate Hillary is. Look for Sanders to run as an independent once the Democrat Party denies him the nomination after Hillary drops out.

Trump will win California. Therefore, I’m going to cross over and vote for “Bernie.” In 57 years I have never voted for a Democrat. However, a vote for Bernie may throw a monkey wrench into Hillary’s plans. I’ll take that chance.

When all this started, the Clinton team was glad to have Bernie announce his candidacy. They viewed him and O’Malley as “token opposition” so they could claim that it was not a coronation, and she had to compete for the nomination. Little did Hillary dream that she would be fighting for her political life in California.

There are hand lettered pro Bernie signs posted on the fences of overpasses along the 405 Freeway in Orange County. One says Hillary is bribed. There is no corresponding evidence of enthusiasm for Herself.

If Hillary loses Super Blue CA, where can she win?

The Big Mo is not with her as Democrats keep voting no confidence in their presumptive nominee.

And she humiliatingly has to stoop to campaign in CA to save her last shreds of dignity.

Don’t do it; you will regret it. People in CA are for Mrs. Bill, of that we can be sure.

As of the time we write "Bernie" and Hillary are tied. Trump will win the Republican vote and we may stop Hillary. I have talked with others and they may vote for "Bernie."

I appreciate your concern- what is the downside as you see it?
