The month's toll was fueled by a Memorial Day weekend in which six people were killed and 63 wounded, and a Mother's Day weekend when more than 50 people were shot, eight fatally. That brought the total number of people shot in Chicago so far this year to more than 1,500. At least 250 of them have died.

This wouldn't happen if we could confiscate all guns ... raise the minimum wage to $15 ... increase teacher pay ... play more midnight basketball ... hire 200 more community organizers ... enact a carbon tax to reverse global warming ... stop threatening to deport illegal aliens ... provide blacks with a place to destroy ... give college students their safe space ... and let drag queens use women's restrooms!
