Ted Cruz For Senate
The Federalist ^ | June 3rd, 2016 | By Sean Saffron

Posted on 06/04/2016 11:07:51 AM PDT by Mariner

Lost in all the back and forth of the Republican presidential primary is a profound question for the conservative movement: “Whither Ted Cruz?” Let us not overlook a conservative powerhouse, with a proven track record of organizing actual voters across a wide swath of states, expertise at small-dollar fundraising, and the discipline to endure months of heckling by Donald Troll and his oafish minions.

Is no one else excited to see the next chapter for Cruz? If he so chooses, Cruz can be the conservative leader he was so often attacked for not being over the last few years. Now that he is no longer required to hedge his every position, craft every utterance for maximum flexibility, and throw inconvenient political groups under the bus, Cruz can focus on actually legislating and moving the American political center rightward.

As I argued last year (in an unheeded essay urging he stay put in the Senate):

The selective service card says that he was in the USA in 1967...almost 1968.

Why can you not consider that a patriot might be convinced that he is a globalist Trojan Horse, and that we already have too many treachers in the Republican Party, especially the Senate?

For me, it has nothing to do with something so petty as “like” or not. I don’t “like” Trump and never have, but I will eagerly vote for him, because I am convinced he is pro-America, which I cannot say of Cruz.

I have not been able to find a marriage certificate, and I’ve been reading that no one has.

It should have been announced in some newspaper, but I suspect that the Canadian birth certificate suggests that Eleanor and Rafael had never officially married.

“His social conservative positions are right on the money.”

Yes, but people are concerned about his support for a Globalist agenda that he apparently shares with his Goldman-Sacks wife Heidi. Coker Bill, TPA, and TPP votes give one pause and are eroding Cruz’s support.

One need not be a newbie to primary Cruz. There are capable people in Texas that could challenge his continued tenure in the Senate. I, for one, hope that one rises. It’s time to dump the Globalists.

Wikipedia:

At the time of his birth, Cruz's parents had lived in Calgary for three years and were working in the oil business as owners of a seismic-data processing firm for oil

Breitbart:

The Cruz campaign offered the following statement exclusively to Breitbart News, presented in full (original emphasis): Eleanor was never a citizen of Canada, and she could not have been under the facts or the law. In short, she did not live in Canada long enough to be a Canadian citizen by the time Cruz was born in 1970: Canadian law required 5 years of permanent residence, and she moved to Canada in December 1967—only 3 years before Senator Cruz’s birth. Nothing in the document you sent shows anything to the contrary.

That's my hope. If the majority on FR doesn't like Cruz so much they don't even want him in the Senate, then I'm no longer interested in participating nor supporting FR.

Cruz supports the NWO...Are you good with that???

His mother was born in Connecticut. She was working in Canada when Cruz was born. Her AMERICAN-BORN CITIZENSHIP automatically made him an AMERICAN CITIZEN. While he was born in a Canadian hospital (because his mother lived there), his Canadian citizenship is just an afterthought. And, Cruz has ready dismissed his Canadian citizenship .. which leaves him as ONLY - AN AMERICAN CITIZEN.

The story goes that his mother became a Canadian citizen...And Canada doesn't recognize dual citizenship...

So if Lyin Ted is a citizen, why has he done everything to avoid proving it?

If Texas wants him as their Senator, he’s way better than Cornyn and Hutchison before him.

All 3 are NWO globalists...Just Cruz is a little more vocal about the Constitution than the other 2...

The selective service registration says that Cruz was in New Orleans in late 1967.

The National Review article says Rafael and Eleanor met in New Orleans.

I am not but I am sure there are people who are.

If Texas wants to keep him as Senator that is their business.

There is no doubt that this is all a little confusing.

http://conservativeamerica-online.com/cruzs-father-rafael-was-previous-married-before-meeting-cruzs-mother-2-of-5/

Following his divorce from his first wife, Rafael Cruz moved to New Orleans, Louisiana for a new job in the Energy Industry. It was while working in New Orleans that Senator Cruz’s parents would meet. His mother, Eleanor Elizabeth Darragh Wilson, was originally from Delaware. Senator Cruz’s mother had come South to study Mathematics at Rice University in Houston, Texas. As she likes to tell it, she refused to learn to type so that when asked about her typing skills, she would say she couldn’t and they would have to hire her as a Computer Programmer instead. It was while working as a Computer Programmer in the Oil Industry, that she met Rafael Cruz.

After their marriage, Senator Cruz’s parents took their careers to the Oil Industry in Canada. It was in Canada that Senator Cruz was born. He was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on December 22, 1970.

——Cruz’s votes on the Coker Bill, TPA, and TPP identify him as having a Globalist agenda that he apparently shares with his wife Heidi.——

I never bought into the idea Cruz is a globalist....

I don’t have an issue with Abbot running for his seat....

I think I've documented why I said they were married in New Orleans in 1969. That said, on closer reading that is never really proved by anyplace that I can find, and it's very possible they were not married when Cruz was conceived or born. The birth certificate does say that Eleanor Darragh Wilson was the mother and Rafael Cruz Senior was the father.

That was not her maiden name but her name by a previous marriage, so probably the current legal name as of the birth?

So who exactly is Ted Cruz’s mother, and how did she end up living in Canada? The Texas senator’s mother, Eleanor Darragh, was born to a Irish-Italian family in Delaware and was the first in her family to attend college, the National Journal reported in June. She worked as a computer programmer in New Orleans and Texas, and married Rafael Bienvenido Cruz, a mathematics graduate, in 1969, according to a big story published Wednesday in Maclean’s, one of Canada’s top magazines. Cruz’s parents moved to Canada to process seismic exploration data for oil companies in Calgary, and he was born there in 1970. http://www.ibtimes.com/why-did-ted-cruzs-mother-move-canada-texas-senator-says-eleanor-darragh-makes-him-2266436

I lost count of the “conservatives” piling on, quoting “no religious test, no religious test.” Of course, the Constitutione says there shall be no religious test for public office.

Congress ought to find that Islam is not a religion.
