Gunshots rang out at an Orlando, Fla., gay club, striking at least 20 people early Sunday, according to a WESH-TV report. A witness saw what appeared to be one assailant opening fire with a semi-automatic firearm inside the nightclub and another outside the south Orlando venue from a vehicle. “We were just leaving the club and we started hearing the shots,” clubber Anthony Torres told the Daily News. “Everyone was running and screaming.”

I think there is little doubt the shooter targeted the bar because it was a gay bar. Rather than absolving Islam of responsibility, it should only serve to shed light on Islam’s treatment of gays. Perhaps this will be an eye opener to some.
Unfortunately, I don’t think so. The whole media spin on this will be A. Guns are bad, and B. This is simply a hate crime against gays that was inspired by transgender bathroom laws.
The shooting should not be a surprise. Islamic terrorists have long ago expressed their agenda. So what that he is an American citizen? There have been multiple cases of parents from Muslim countries settling here, having many children, and directing their children to commit acts of terror.

Obama and Hillary will decry this atmosphere of hate triggered by Donald Trump.

But, what I think will be different this time is the media will be forced to discuss the Islamist connection because our next, non PC President will surly make the connection.
Of course, if and when Trump does, the Dems and their media sycophant’s will try to pile on the Trump is a racist meme. I predict that tact will only help Trump with real Americans.

WFTV9 reporter on scene said the shooter had 2 hand guns.
Casings from 3 different weapons were found.
I'm guessing the latter, since in the Leftist hierarchy, promoting multiculturalism and the interests of non-whites trumps all other concerns.

Wow. Sen. Bill Nelson, a Democrat, just said there are preliminary ISIS ties. He also said something amazing about how we all need to come together as Americans, not “hyphenated Americans.”
If the report that killer was a licensed security guard pans out and as part of his job had a right to have the guns he used, it puts to rest any arguement by the gun grabbers that gun ownership by the general public is the problem.
(Senator Nelson says inteligence staff believe killer has ISIS connections. Then goes on to say country has to “dig down” to confront the recent violence in the US. Typical lib response - doesn’t matter who is behind it, still a US problem with gun violence.)
