Mateen was a 'known quantity' to federal law enforcement before he killed 53 people in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
Omar Mateen of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, came to the attention of federal authorities twice prior to being identified as the gunman in the Orlando nightclub mass shooting, a senior law enforcement source told The Daily Beast.

The senior law enforcement source reports that Mateen became a person of interest in 2013 and again in 2014. The Federal Bureau of Investigation at one point opened an investigation on Mateen but subsequently closed the case when it produced nothing that appeared to warrant further investigation.
"He's a known quantity," the source said. "He's been on the radar before."
The gunman is said by the source to have been born in New York and to have been married for a time to a woman from New Jersey. His father, Seddique Mateen, appears to reside in Florida, but is said to be presently running for office in Afghanistan.

Russia, England and Saudi Arabia warned the feds. Here are some excerpts from my notes:
June 2007 – Katherine “Katie” Osborn Russell graduates North Kingstown HS, North Kingstown, RI. She was born Feb 1989. Her grandfather Russell was connected to the CIA and was a founding member of Yale’s Skull and Bones which is funded by the Russell Trust Assoc.
2009 – Tamerlan and Uncle Ruslan, of Montgomery Village, Maryland, have falling out. Tamerlan calls Uncle an infidel. Tamerlan quits work and college. Uncle says Tamerlan getting radicalized at Cambridge mosque. Uncle Ruslan’s ex-wife is Samantha Ankara Fuller, daughter of high ranking CIA officer Graham Fuller who had many years of dealings with middle east. Amazon.com shows author Fuller is living in Vancouver, Canada and many writings on ROP.
Oct 2009 – Anzar’s mental state is in full blown psychosis and he’s hearing voices and seeing animal faces and thinks the KGB is after him.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev came to the attention of the FBI on at least two occasions prior to a Russian government warning in March 2011 that said he appeared to be radicalizing, FBI Director Robert Mueller said in Congressional testimony this week. The earlier references have led some lawmakers to question whether the FBI acted too quickly in closing an assessment of Tsarnaev’s potential ties to terrorism done in response to the Russian request. In a little-noticed exchange before the House Judiciary Committee Thursday, Mueller acknowledged that the Russian alert was not the first time the elder Tsarnaev brother crossed the FBI’s radar. “His name had come up in two other cases,” Mueller said in response to questions from Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa). “Those two other cases, the individuals had their cases closed. So, he was one or two person [sic] away.” When King asked Mueller if it was reasonable to say that the Russian letter “refocused” the FBI on Tsarnaev, Mueller replied, “Absolutely.”
2010 - Through social network monitoring in late 2010, Russian officials note ties between radical Tamerlan and William Plotnikov, a Russian born Canadian boxer, Islam convert and member of the terrorist organization Caucasus Emirate in Dagestan. Russia notified the US according to U.S. Rep. William Keating.
Dec 2010 – Uncle Ruslan, 39, gave a witness statement to the High Court in London that he worked in various capacities with a closely knit network of associates led by Nazarbayev’s son-in-law from 2000 to 2008 that regularly engaged in fraudulent business practices and that Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev had overseen the theft of state assets worth billions of dollars.
2011 – Third cousin, Magomed Kartashov, six years older than Tamerlan, founded and became the leader of an organization called the Union of the Just, based in Kizlyar, Dagestan, whose members campaign for Shari‘a and pan-Islamic unity in Dagestan, often speaking out against U.S. policies across the Muslim world. The group publicly renounces violence. But some of its members have close links to militants; others have served time in prison for weapons possession and abetting terrorism.

2011 – Russia claims Mama texts relatives in Russia Tamerlan willing to die for Islam
March 2011 - Russia intercepts calls between Mama and Tamerlan and possibly Dzhokhar and sends warning to FBI. Mama also on phone with someone in the Caucasus region of Russia who was/is on FBI list. U.S. Rep. William Keating verifies the March 2011 letter and that it contained a lot of details about Tamerlan including his birthday, telephone number, cellphone number, where he lived in Cambridge and info about his wife and child and the possibility that he might be considering changing names and info about mama including her Skype address. Keating says the Russians believed Tamerlan wanted to go to Palestine and engage in terrorist activities, but was unable to master the language.
April 2011 or June 2011 - FBI closes file on Tamerlan and Mama.
July 1, 2011 – FBI puts Tamerlan on TECS list to monitor his travels.
Sept 2011 - Russia sends second warning, this time to CIA. At some point, US officials meet with family at their home and Tamerlan is defiant to them.
Sept 11, 2011 – Note the date. Tamerlan suspect in Mess, Weissman and Hacker’s deaths.
Aug 2011 to Dec 2012 – Dzhokhar gets failing grades in college. He began as an engineering student and then switched to biology. Joins Muslim Student Association intramural soccer team.
Sept 11, 2011 – Tamerlan’s best friend, another Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School grad (same class as Tamerlan?) and boxer, Brendan Halley Mess (25, martial arts instructor) and two other Jewish men, Erik Hacker Weissman (31, a Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School grad, personal trainer) and Raphael Teken (37, close friend to Mess’ brother Dylan, and bodybuilder) were dragged to different rooms and murdered in Mess’s and Teken’s apartment at 12 Harding Avenue Waltham, MA – throats slit/nearly decapitated, seven pounds of marijuana and $5,000 scattered over bodies. Suspicion is now on Tamerlan. Cell phone records show the brothers were in the area that night. Police records show marijuana arrests and neighbors thought they were dealers. A 3 dinner order was called into Gerry’s Italian Kitchen at 8:54 p.m. from Mess’ cell, but when a delivery woman arrived at 9:14 pm, there was no answer at the door and no one answered a call to Weissman’s cell phone, from which the order was placed. Cell phone records show none of their cells were used after that time. The bodies were discovered the next day. Tamerlan didn’t go to Mess’ memorial or funeral and didn’t go back to the gym until March 2013 when he was rude. Friends say he was upset with Mess’ lifestyle.
Oct 2011 - CIA puts Tamerlan and Mama on terrorist list.
Dec 2011 – Tamerlan attempted to go for a pilgrimage known as an Umrah to Mecca but that was the wrong time of year for such. Saudi Arabia denies Tamerlan access visa due to human intelligence developed independently from Russia in Yemen.
Jan 12, 2012 - Tamerlan goes to Russia. Papa claims he was with him the whole time but US officials claim papa wasn’t in Dagestan at that time. Before leaving Russia, he applies to replace his soon to expire passport from the Republic of Kyrgyzstan with a Russian one but returns to US before receiving it. In an article related to NSA/Snowden/RAND, it has what did not make the news in America, but it did in Russia is that he went there for “training” that was funded by the Jamestown Foundation, a CIA front.
April 2012 – Dagestani Center for Combating Extremism registered Tamerlan’s repeated meetings with radical Mahmud Mansur Nidal, 18, who had been under surveillance as a recruiter for the Dagestani insurgency. He was killed in a police operation in Makhachkala on May 19, 2012.
July 14, 2012 – Plotnikov is one of several insurgents killed in a battle with Russian security forces. Russia speculates Tamerlan may have been involved with Plotnikov and were searching for him.
July 17, 2012 - Tamerlan lands in US from Russian trip and has grown a full beard. Neighbors say a few weeks later he was clean shaven.
2012 – After Tamerlan returns, Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior wrote a letter to warn US DHS “at the highest level” and Britain of concerns of a terroristic attack on an American city and specifically names Tamerlan and that US should inspect his mail for bomb making compontents. The joint warning also named three Pakistanis of interest to Britain. DHS and Caitlin Hayden, a spokesperson for the president’s National Security Council, deny any such warning. DHS then comes clean admitting the letter exists but because of “turf wars” between agencies, DHS may not have notified the WH.
Aug 2012 – Tamerlan creates Youtube terrorist videos showing Imarat Kavkaz militant Islamic group from Caucasus and Abu Dujana, a jihadist leader.
Sept 5, 2012 – Tamerlan applies for US citizenship which is delayed because of closed FBI investigation but Congressman William Keating (D-Mass.) claims it’s because of the old domestic abuse case.
Sept 11, 2012 - Dzhokhar gets US citizenship.
Jan 20, 2013 – Tazhayakov returns to US after having been gone since Dec. 2012. His student visa had been terminated in the interim due to his academic dismissal from UofMass-Dartmouth. The termination was in Homeland Security Department’s Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) when he was let back into the country but U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) was unaware.
April 16, 2013 - The day after the Boston Bombing, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal meets with Secretary of State John Kerry. Al-Faisal now states Yemen-based sources militants referred to Tamerlan dismissively as ‘the volunteer’, gung-ho, self motivated jihadi who wasn’t tasked by a larger group.
April 17, 2013 – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal has an unscheduled meeting with Obama. Sources told TheBlaze that Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi’s file was altered on the evening of April 17 to disassociate him from the initial charges, and according to Glenn Beck, “someone later went in and tried to destroy both the original event file and an amended version.” Michelle Obama visited him in his Beth Israel Hospital room and took pics. A Saudi diplomat pic in hospital room. He was secretly shipped back to Saudi within the week. He was reportedly set for deportation on 212 (3)(B) grounds – “security and related grounds” — “Terrorist activities” — after the tragedy.
Mama says Tamerlan called to say the FBI had called him and wanted him to come in for questioning about the bombing but he refused and told them to come to him.
April 18, 2013 – 5:20 pm FBI releases pictures of bombing suspects. 7:00 pm, Tamerlan calls Uncle Alvi Tsarnaev, of Montgomery Village, MD, for the first time in two years.
May 17, 2013 - Two members of the FBI’s elite counterterrorism unit who arrested Dzhokhar died Friday while practicing how to quickly drop from a helicopter to a ship using a rope, the FBI announced Monday in a statement. The statement gave few details regarding the deaths of Special Agents Christopher Lorek (A&M grad) and Stephen Shaw other than they fell a great distance over water. The fall killed them rather than drowning. (probably not involved with arrest but 100 member unit was sent from Quantico to Boston to investigate other bombs).
May 21, 2013 – U.S. Rep. William Keating says Russia informed the FBI at some point about Ibragim A. Todashev. At 7:30 pm 6022 Peregrine Avenue, Windhover Condominiums on Kirkman Road near Conroy Road, Orlando, FL directly across the street from Univeral Studios. FBI interviewed Ibragim/Ibrahim A. Todashev (b. Sept. 22, 1985, 27, Chechen born, connections with radical Chechen rebels, US citizenship, previously of the Chechnyan community in Boston and drove a Mercedes) and Khusn Taramov (22, from Chechnya and previously of Boston, he and Todashev knew each other in Checnya and came to US together) at an Orlando, FL apartment for 3 hours. Taramov left after an agent said they’d need Todashev a couple more hours. He told Taramov he was worried he was getting set up and would be killed so gave him his parent’s phone number in case he got arrested. He is not suspected in the Boston bombing but did confess to the slaying of Mess et al in Boston two years ago. When he was about to sign a confession, he became violent and pulled a knife at which time an agent, Aaron McFarlane, 41 (medical retired from Oakland PD 2004 & has questionable past planting evidence & falsifying police reports), shot him 18 times and killed him early May, 22, 2013. The agent has non-life threatening injuries. Todashev, an MMA fighter, met Tamerlan several times in Boston while competing in mixed martial arts. Todashev had a plane ticket for May 21 to NY to Chechnya to spend a month with family that was bought before the bombings and the FBI wanted to question him before he left and was pressuring him not to leave so he cancelled the ticket. May 4, 2013, Todashev was arrested on aggravated assault charges after getting into a fight with a man at the Orlando Premuium Outlet mall over a parking space and released on May 5, 2013 on a $3,500 surety bond.
FBI agents came to the apartment complex and started questioning a few people of Chechnyan descent. “One day they started questioning us, next day after the bombing, not the bombing , after they found out the bombers were Chechnyans, and they started following us, watching us, they pretty much told the guy from his apartment and they start following us, watching us like everyday,” said Taramov. Said Todashev just gotten his green card (green card or citizenship?) and had spoken to Tamerlan a month before (a week before the bombing or just after?). Didn’t know Tamerlan in Chechnya. He’d also been to Boston to visit Tamerlan. Several Chechnyans in apartment complex claim they’re muslim but not radicals. In the last two months, neighbors reported unfamiliar cars and men walking around the complex and parking near the condo. She said the man used to sit in his white Mercedes and listen to music and give candy to kids. FBI sending a post-shooting incident review team from Washington. This may have been his girlfriend’s apartment. Todashev lived in a gated community in Kissimmee called Orlando Sun Village and had been in the US since 2006.
Dec 30, 2013 – Father of Ibragim/Ibrahim A. Todashev, Abdulbaki Todashev, now of Russia, wrote to Obama asking for explaination in FBI shooting death of his son. Claims son knew the brothers through boxing but wasn’t involved in any other crime. Says Ibrahim went to FBI office 4 times for interviews and fears a cover up. FBI/locals now hazy on him having a knife.
Sept 27, 2014 – “Suhaib Webb, an Imam with ties to former Al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki, had also previously been the leader of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, which had been attended by Alton Nolen – the (Oklahoma) man who on Thursday beheaded a former coworker after recently converting to Islam, Breitbart News has learned. Webb now serves as Imam of the sister organization of the mosque attended by Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Imam Suhaib Webb has a history of ties to radicalism. FBI surveillance documents found that he was a known confidant of Al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki. Just two days before the September 11, 2001 attacks on America, Webb spoke at a fundraiser with Awlaki with hopes to raise funds for Atlanta-based H. Rap Brown, a man that shot and killed two police officers.”
Mar 4, 2015 – Katherine Russell is suspected of accompanying Tamerlain to Macy’s in Boston two months before bombing to purchase 5 pressure cookers, two of which were allegedly used at the bombing. The bombs were made in their apartment in plain sight of her.

FBI used to conduct my background investigation long ago for a security clearance. Now that process is “contracted out” to the very same asshats trying to steal classified data involving national security.... we’re toast ! Especially if Mrs Bubbafucco gets the win. At that point ....... circle yer friggin wagons because its open season on whats left of America.

You are quoting from the Old Testament laws, Leviticus.
The New Testament still condemns homosexuality and calls it sin. But the New Testament does not say to kill, but rather leave the judgment or punishment to God. And that is what Christians do. Please don’t distort Christian teaching.

I have a dear friend that is a flight attendent, After causing an alarming disturbance on a flight the “person” looked her in the eye and said “I will kill you!” The Agent taking her statement told her that he was already known to them.

Flight Attendant friends life was threatened ON a flight into Detroit. Agent that took her statement afterwards TOLD HER that “they knew about him”.

I formally asked my Congressman by letter to look into it and see if he had been placed on the No Fly list after that. He formally told me that ‘they will not release that information to him”.
I can not honestly say they are better because many of them still follow 15 centuries old book. Personally gays and lesbians give me the creeps, but I do not advocate killing anyone unless they threaten to kill me.
God has always declared homosexual acts to be sinful and has given His Word for us to know it.
If a false religion like Islam or Hitler’s teachings happens to say the same thing along with their false creeds, that still never makes those false religions equal or comparable to God’s Word.
I just saw the phrase “known wolf” - a play on the government’s Orwellian absurdity phrase “lone wolf,” as if any Muslim is separate from the 1.4 billion strong Muslim army, jihad, ummah, Allah, Dar al Islam, or anything else.
