The best gun control would have been preventing the terrorist’s parents from coming to this country.

In every instance the Islamic shooter had passed each and every requirement the left wants for "reasonable" gun control. In fact, he had far more "training" than the left has ever required.

What they fail to understand is when a bad guy wants to inflict damage and hurt people the bad guy will find a way to do so.

Yesterday’s terrorist attack in Orlando provides significant ammunition (an apt description) for the gun control zealots but only if it’s not a “terrorist attack”. That’s why the gun control zealots in the media are pushing the “lone-wolf”, “American citizen” “Florida resident” angle so vigorously! ... and the support for Donald Trump continues to grow and grow and grow.

Look at those morons. They even posted a helpful visual aid. Now compare their “meaningful” measures to the Orlando situation. NONE of those changes would have changed the outcome one bit. Morons.

Ok, this is another war we are facing:

If these ‘spineless sissies’ who have SS around them all the time with guns, want more gun control....VOTE THEM OUT!!!

We the American People who can pass a background check by the government are by the Constitution of the United States of America to own weapons...concealed or other wise, and anyone who votes differently: VOTE THEM OUT!!!

This truly shows the helplessness and intellectual bankruptcy of the left.

They either can’t or won’t address the real problem, so they do this.

I suppose they will address the rise in car accidents caused by texting drivers by banning cars.

Chicago archbishop decries “easy access to deadly weapons” in Orlando shooting

Monday, June 13, 2016 at 09:32 AM

“CHICAGO - Chicago Archbishop decried “easy access to deadly weapons” in his response to the shooting in Orlando early Sunday morning:

The Cardinal did not mention the killer’s identification with radical Islam and ISIS, nor the Catholic Church’s teachings against homosexuality.

After Memorial Day, the number of people shot this year in his Chicago archdiocese stood near 1,500 — up more than 50 percent over last year - with 250 killed.”

As their mentor Saul Alinsky said, ‘the issue is never the issue. It is as smokescreen for the Revolution.’

I wish for one week, everyone would lock their guns in their safes and leave them. Then sit back and see the difference it would make. None! Liberals need a lesson in reality.

This sort of thing amazes me in that they keep at this sort of thing. The perpetrator was someone that as a security guard would easily clear background checks anywhere in the United States or even in Canada (with our Possession and Acquisition Licences and Restricted Firearms classifications).

I can remember reading about how California laws basically permitted Patrick Purdy in 1989 to buy his firearms legally and pass the required backchecks and waiting periods of the time as he had had the criminal charges for violent behaviour pressed against him either greatly reduced or plea bargained away. Yet the horrible thing he did in Stockton in 1989 became yet another Alamo for gun prohibitionists at the time like this recent event.

Trump in a landslide.

I hope the Democrats push as hard as they can for gun control. It would lead to a Trump and Republican landslide. Hopefully, they propose repealing the Second Amendment. The Wicked Witch should announce that as President she would nominate Justices to overrule Heller and McDonald. The Donald can talk about fighting terrorism, while the Wicked Witch talks about gutting a part of the Bill of Rights.

Obama: ‘We’ are to blame, not Islamic terrorism, for massacre

Obama: ‘We’ are to blame, not Islamic terrorism, for massacre

Omar Mateen called the cops to pledge his fealty to ISIS as he was carrying out his mass murder in Orlando early Sunday. Twelve hours later, the president of the United States declared that “we have no definitive assessment on the motivation” of Omar Mateen but that “we know he was a person filled with hate.”

So I guess the president thinks Mateen didn’t mean it?

Here again, and horribly, we have an unmistakable indication that Obama finds it astonishingly easy to divorce himself from a reality he doesn’t like — the reality of the Islamist terror war against the United States and how it is moving to our shores in the form of lone-wolf attacks.

He called it “terror,” which it is. But using the word “terror” without a limiting and defining adjective is like a doctor calling a disease “cancer” without making note of the affected area of the body — because if he doesn’t know where the cancer is and what form it takes, he cannot attack it effectively and seek to extirpate it.

This is purely a political tactic for specific states and congressional districts where they think it will help them as a campaign issue. They know they aren’t going to get the legislation in 2016, they probably won’t even try very hard, but they will campaign on it where they think it boosts their candidate, I.e., liberal states and districts.
